MBBS (MD) - Batch of 2021

The university has the best faculty and provides student-friendly environment.
Tips: You may experience some cultural shifts when it comes to studying and performing in the field. You could be awarded scholarships if you perform well academically. Sometimes my time at this college is good, and sometimes it's bad. Daily, 2-4 hours of lectures are held on campus, and there is also a related practical aspect that takes place at a hospital. I found this whole experience very interesting. In addition to academic work, events like debates, sports, social events, and outings happen on campus every week or month, and I enjoy participating in these activities. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my college life and where I live.
Dislikes (Student Life): It was easy to get in touch with faculty members at this university. I was able to reach them via email or WhatsApp. They responded right away and let me know what their schedule looked like so that I could figure out when I could meet with them. They provided us with daily notes and PDFs related to the material and then had five-minute review sessions at the end of the day. All of the faculty and staff at the school spoke fluent English.

It has been a good experience with diverse faculty and great campus.
Tips: Exams are tough. Lecturers are good, but you have to study the full topics from an app like Prep, Marrow, or World. In the two-hour lecture period, they can't finish all the medical topics. The following week, you have to give a viva (oral exam) on the topic, and your score will be out of two or three. The public transportation in Georgia is very good. It's clean, fast, and safe. In fact, I was living 18 km from the airport and I could get there in 45 minutes for just 4 rupees.
Dislikes (Part time work): Because of the language barrier, it is difficult to find a job in Georgia. However, you can get a job delivering for an Indian restaurant or mess hall. If you learn Georgian, it is easy to find a job. In the beginning, it is difficult to get a good paycheck, but if you work part-time, you can easily pay for your food and household bills.

It is a very nice university with great faculty.
Tips: Before joining Grigol Robakidze University, students should make sure they really want to study abroad and are committed to staying focused on their goals. They should attend lectures regularly, and on weekends they can visit tourist attractions, of which there are many. It's a really safe country for women. You will not see any criminal activity there. Women can easily walk even at night as the law of this country is very much strict. I think it's better to stay in your home country if you want a permanent job. It's better to work in your own country, surrounded by your own people. After all, you'll always feel emotionally better with your family and friends around you.

Georgian paradise for medical students.
Tips: I adapted to the culture quite easily, which is why I didn't experience any cultural shock or shifts. I received a scholarship that gave me 1,000 INR each month, which covered my school expenses. I'm satisfied with the program and I would love to visit again. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.
Likes (Internships): At our school, we are taught with PowerPoint lectures in class. We then go to the simulation center, where we learn how to deal with outpatient department patients. Afterward, we have lunch, play sports, and rest. We celebrate Indian festivals there. We also have student exchange programs and seminars. The school encourages students to actively participate in many of the school's events. We also have the Student Unity Council community.
Dislikes (Public transportation): All the teachers were very friendly, and I could do after-class mentoring with them. They used PowerPoint slides to do the teaching and explanations, and we completed practical applications in proper labs in the hospital. There were Georgian teachers there, and they taught in English. But we had to learn a bit of Georgian for clinical exposure with patients.
