Worth it. Value of money.
Tips: Chinese culture is good. I learn so much from their culture. I learn civic sense, helping people. I learned a language there. I am very satisfied with the college environment, safety, transportation, sports, friendly behaviour, fun loving, best scenery, travel and food.
Likes (Indian Food): Mostly non veg food there. For veg food, we have to make it ourselves. An Indian canteen is there and Indian restaurants are there. But restaurants are a bit costly. But I love non veg food. I tried every food there. I love that. But if you are vegetarian, then everything is available there for making food.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent immigration is tough. China's policy is a bit tough for working and living there. As a doctor communication is very important. Without good communication in the Mandarin language, living there is tough, working there is tough.

Academically oriented and multi dimensional.
Tips: Students should know the English language for communication. This is a well-maintained university and is also versatile. I received a scholarship almost every year. I studied very hard to achieve this. In terms of the university and examination, these were smooth and on time. I was prepared for the exam by my excellent faculty.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty were excellent in terms of the interaction between students and teachers. Teaching was excellent and very calm. There was no discrimination based on nationality. They treated everyone equally. Teachers always asked students if they were having any difficulty in any term of study. We were free to ask anything.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The restaurants in the city were really good, and the prices were reasonable too. I usually eat outside from the mess hall, or I occasionally order something from a restaurant. I had a very good experience. There are some Indian restaurants out there and the food is awesome.

Student life in Sichuan University.
Tips: Language is a barrier for any student coming to China. Even though the teaching is in the English language, learning can't be skipped. It's essential for hospital clinical visits and there wasn't any major cultural shift. The Chinese holidays and festivals are a new thing for me. They are very hard working people. I availed a scholarship in my 4th year. It's around 3000 yuan. It was awarded for being top 10 in my class. I was very much satisfied with my time at SCU. It was amazing in all aspects.
Likes (Student Life): Campus life is amazing and Huaxiba campus is the oldest campus out of all the 3 campuses in Chengdu and it's so picturesque during the lotus blooming season and the fall season. Even though I am not an active member of college clubs or anything, I can say clubs are not so much welcoming for foreign students. I used to love my time spent on campus and especially library.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time jobs are almost nonexistent on campus for any foreign students pursuing MBBS and even though some people work outside in restaurants, as English teachers, etc. , it's not legal to work with a student visa in Chengdu. Many students faced heavy finest for working illegally.
