Great University in the heart of Dresden
Tips: Know the syllabus of the course - I did not receive any scholarship even though I applied for two scholarships. But as part of volunteering, I was able to obtain scholarships such as ERASMUS and AIESEC scholarships. I am very happy to say that I graduated from this university, as I have made great connections with my professors and classmates.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation is well infrastructure - there are buses, ferries, trams, bicycles, and trains. Under the student semester contribution, the Deutschlandticket is included, which is less than the original Deutschlandticket price. - Bicycles can be used for free up to 30 minutes.
Dislikes (Part time work): To be honest, it depends on your luck. - As far as I remember and know, during summer its easier get jobs as more tourist visit the city and local spend more time outisde. - Restaurants are open widely with full fletched services therefore, it is easy to find a part-time job. - During winters it is little bit challenging to find a part-time job - since there are more international arriving each year to stay in germany, the chances of getting a part-time job is also challenging. - As of now the minimum pay is 14.2 euro per hour and for university jobs this might go upto 15 to 18 euro per hour. - I would say choosing a part-time job within your course or field of study either in the university or outside the university would be a good option. - sometimes, the hours per month in the university might be less than 80 hours per month. - learn germna language upto A2 or B1, this will be a great assets.

Koblenz University has lots of opportunities and the people here are very friendly.
Tips: Before joining this college, it is good for students to learn German before going to Germany, as that will help them to communicate with the locals better. I did not avail of any scholarship because there are no tuition costs for public universities in Germany. The university is good, the staff are more friendly than I expected and the country is beautiful. Overall, I am fully satisfied with the course, university and the country.
Likes (Safety): The security is good. People are least bothered about others' business. There are always elders taking their dogs for a walk, and some greet each other even if they are strangers. There is always an International Relations office from the university to help with any clarifications or doubts if necessary.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The university provides locations and names of the shops in Koblenz that are available to Indian students. Though few, it is still better than nothing. The taste is okay, since of course what is made at home and what is replicated at restaurants always have a difference, but it is manageable.
