I am not satisfied with my university because the teaching style is not good.
Tips: I have seen a transition since I arrived. When I first got here, the students were very conservative. Now they are not as conservative, and they respect other students' opinions. However, you can find all types of people on campus. It's easy to find a job in this city. The population is small, and many restaurants and factories are always looking for workers. The local population is also very helpful in providing work for students. I did not receive a scholarship from the university, and I am not satisfied with the quality of education I am receiving.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I gave a low rating for Indian food because the university has very limited vegetarian food options. They do prepare some food without meat, but it is not very good. They take out the meat and add potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, and other vegetables, which don't taste very good. In the end, it was difficult to find food that I liked.

The university is good and there are activities held on campus.
Tips: Before joining, students should know that the location of the university is important, as is the weather. The infrastructure is good, and the marking system is different from other countries. Students are allowed to retake exams twice. If a student does not attend class, they are not allowed to sit in class. You should try to connect with the faculty regarding the syllabus and coursework. Also, participate in events and activities and try to make some connections.
Likes (Indian Food): The price of food is affordable, but vegetables are expensive, especially seasonal vegetables and fruits. Depending on your mood, you can cook your own food in the hotel or eat out. There is an Indian restaurant nearby.
Dislikes (Internships): The university provided hospital training, which helped me prepare for the internship. I also had to keep a journal of my activities. The university provided guidance throughout the internship and gave me a test after the internship was completed.

It is a budget friendly university with great curriculum.
Tips: Before coming, students should understand that self-study is the key to success. There are all types of people in this country, so it's up to you to choose the right friends. Also, start preparing for the FMGE exam as soon as your third year because the syllabus is vast.
Likes (Safety): I gave Kabardino-Balkarian State University five stars for safety because the city is very conservative. Most of the streets are empty after 11 PM, and the people who live here are very cultured. This is the best city for girls because I've seen many Indian girls walking around at midnight without any problems and feeling safe.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Most of the faculty are residents and doctors who have just completed their post-graduation and have no teaching experience. Additionally, only a few faculty members speak English, which makes it difficult for students to understand their lectures. The education system here is very different from the one in India.

The university has great infrastructure and campus and the people are very friendly.
Tips: The university has a good campus and a good feel to it. The hostel fee is very affordable at only 13000 for the year. The faculty are good and well educated, and they speak good English so they are easy to understand. Overall, I am quite satisfied here with the experience.
Likes (Part time work): Part-time jobs are easily available in Russia. We only need to learn Russian to work here. Jobs like apple picking, cucumber picking, and wheat harvesting are available. Part-time jobs are also available in cafes as cooks and waiters at good wages. The jobs are easy.
Dislikes (Internships): The only disappointing aspect of studying at Kabardino-Balkarian State University is the lack of practical knowledge exposure. This is a common problem with studying abroad, but it's especially disappointing because the faculty is excellent. The internship program provides 20 days of internship, which is a good start.

The university does not meet the expectations as compared with the fees they charge.
Tips: This college is situated in the north Caucasus region of Europe. The Elbrus Mountains are located in the Kabardino-Balkarian state and you can travel anywhere in the region. There's a lot to explore here including the Chegem and Nalchik Reka rivers which are nearby and perfect for a bonfire. I am satisfied with the country but not the course.
Likes (Safety): It is safe and secure here. There are no problems or complaints regarding safety. This is part of Russia, which is one of the safest places in the world. The police and army are very strong and you won't face any problems regarding safety issues.
Dislikes (Internships): I rated internships low because there is no practical exposure here unlike in Indian medical colleges, where students have postings every other day. Here, internships are conducted only once a year and only for 10 days. Also, the doctor is not available during that time and there are no patients.

Kabadino Balkarian State University is very poor and the faculty have no interest in teaching.
Tips: This college is a good option if you have qualified for NEET but are not getting a seat in India. However, there is no study here. You have to study by yourself. The quality and system of teaching are not even comparable to India. You come here to get an MBBS degree and then leave.
Likes (Safety): I felt safe on campus because there was no violence or terrorism, and the police were helpful. There was very little theft, and I even found money on the road.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): I rated the quality of the faculty low because they are not very good. They don't know what to teach, and the syllabus is not in accordance with the Indian curriculum. Also, they don't speak good English, which makes it difficult to understand them. Another issue is that there is a system called DO which means if you fail a course, you have to pay a compulsory fee.

The ambience is good but not the academics.
Tips: I didn't experience any cultural differences, and people are used to Indians here. However, you can't celebrate your festivals like you do in your home country, especially if you're from India. If you get a degree here, you can easily settle here. Anyone would be happy to move here. I didn't get any scholarships. Other than that, I was satisfied with everything except academics, because they don't teach anything and you have to prepare from the materials they give you.
Dislikes (Part time work): I rated the opportunities for part-time work low because there are students who work in fields on weekends and they get really low pay. So, yes, managing part-time work and academics cannot go hand in hand. Also, if you are working in the fields, you might have to work long hours on weekends and miss classes. That can lead to lower grades.

The university is affordable and has good academics.
Tips: The infrastructure is one of the best I have seen. It is difficult for everyone to settle here. There has not been any cultural shift that I have experienced until now. I have not availed myself of any scholarships. Our campus organizes a culture festival as many students are from various countries. We have clubs or communities for cultural day. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Part time work): Unfortunately, there are no on-campus part-time jobs available. However, there are off-campus part-time job opportunities. Some of my friends work in fields or in bakeries. If you are interested in finding a part-time job, you should check with the career centre or the student employment office. They may be able to help you find a job that fits your schedule and interests.

Our university aims to provide the best academics for medical courses.
Tips: Students should be aware of the university's culture and expectations before they arrive. If a student can only afford to spend 5 lakh per year they should consider attending a different university. There are many professors who are willing to help students learn how to write exam answers, but students must be well-prepared in biology and biochemistry before they arrive. We are required to attend every lecture and cannot afford to miss even a single one, as there is a rule that students who are absent from lectures will lose marks.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Our university has the best professors who are very knowledgeable and always willing to help students who are focused on their studies. If a student asks a professor to explain something again, the professor is always polite and willing to explain it again. They are very helpful and understanding.

The college infrastructure is good and there is a study zone for students.
Tips: The campus is good, and the hostels are affordable. The temperature is not too bad, and Indians can survive here. I would say that the college is overall good in terms of everything except for the practical exposure. The college provides internships for the last 15 days of the year, which is not sufficient for an MBBS student. As an MBBS student, I need to have good exposure to particle things so that I can learn them.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I would like to stay in Russia if I get the chance to settle here. After living here for seven years, I would be eligible for permanent residency. Everything is fine as I experienced it, so it would be good for me to settle here.

Kabardino State Medical University is only good for a degree.
Tips: This college is not very good. There aren't many options for students to do here, and the teachers don't focus on teaching. They just want to pass you and collect their money. If someone tells you the fee is 20 lakhs, the actual fee will be 30 lakhs.
Likes (Part time work): There are many opportunities for students to earn money. Students can work at McDonald's, KFC, and other fast-food restaurants. There are also opportunities to work in construction. Students have sufficient time on weekends to earn money to pay their tuition and fees.
Dislikes (Internships): There are internships in June and they only last 10 days. Also, the teacher or doctor is not present during the internship, so we just stand around and then come back. After the internship, there is an MCQ exam that is difficult to pass unless you pay 16000.

The university is average with only high tuition fees.
Tips: This university is very popular among Indian students in India. Unfortunately, there are many consultants in India who spread false information about this university and the course. Also, the fees increase every year. In the first year, the fees were 2,19,000 rubles. In the second year, the fees increased by more than ten thousand rubles. In the last year, the fees increased to 2,60,000 rubles.
Likes (Part time work): I rated part-time work highly because my roommate was able to earn 2,000 rubles by working only eight hours a day. There are many other part-time work options available, such as cutting grass, construction, and other odd jobs.

The university is very bad and they charge us extra in the name of fine.
Tips: When you come to this college, beware of the consultants who can do a lot of fraud. They might charge you a lot more than the actual fee, which is 2 Lacs. But they might take 8 Lacs from you. Also, when you get here, you might find that the hostel fees are very low, and they might not give you pocket money.
Likes (Safety): I feel safe at Kabardino-Balkarian State University because there is a heavy police presence on campus, and the crime rate is low. This is in spite of the fact that this region is in the North Caucasus, which is considered unsafe by many countries.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The food options are bad because Indian food is not available and there is an Indian mess but it is not working and the food we get here is mainly non-veg and beef which we cannot eat and also its very expensive as compared to India.

The university is good and it provides internship opportunities.
Tips: We did experience the cultural events of the local Kabardin people. The university is quite affordable, which is great for middle-class students. The subjects are quite interesting. The college timings are set according to the number of classes scheduled for the day. For each subject, a single class is taught each week, which allows students to focus on that subject. The college also organizes sports and cultural events, which showcase the cultural heritage of the Kabardino and Balkarian people.
Dislikes (Student Life): The teachers are good at their subjects and the campus has a healthy atmosphere for studying. It's easy to get access to the faculty and the teaching methods are unique and understandable due to the instruments and the teachers.

Kabardino Balkarian State University is good and affordable.
Tips: The university is good and the total cost of six years of MBBS is not much, it's under 20 Lacs. Also, you can get a scholarship for a lot of courses, including MBBS and others. The college starts at 9 am then the next class is at 10.45 then 1 pm after 2.45 and last 4 pm. There are various events in the college like concerts and festivals which help us to explore the Russian culture and also the local culture of Kabardinsk. The quality of the faculty at Kabardino Balkarian State University is good. The faculty are easily accessible and approachable. We can ask them any questions we have any time, even on WhatsApp. The faculty are from various countries, including Russia. Each subject has different teachers.

Budget friendly university with tough academics.
Tips: There were many transitions, from growing physically and mentally to adapting to a new culture. The academics are challenging, but the faculty and staff are very supportive. There are scholarships available, but I didn't apply for one. The university helps students find jobs after graduation. The jobs are mostly available in the university itself. The job roles are great, such as professor or practitioner. The salary packages might not be as good as I expected but for a starting salary, it helps. I did an internship at Kabardino-Balkarian State University. The internship was relevant to my field of study, and I found it helpful in choosing a career path. However, the internship was conducted in Russian, which made it difficult to communicate with the locals.

The university is very diverse and people are friendly.
Tips: The teachers were friendly and didn't bother me much and the teaching faculty was very diverse. They came from many different countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, and Russia. Our anatomy teacher was from Syria. I could just go to class and attend everything. However, I found that the average Indian MBBS student had more knowledge than the teachers at this university. There were also options for doing part-time work so I could earn money to support my education. I felt at home at this university because there are Indian hostels. The environment is good and people are freindly. There are also international hotels if you want to interact with people from other countries.

The university does not provide any practical knowledge.
Tips: The cultural shift is quite obvious. In India, we celebrate many festivals, but I didn't see people here celebrating any festivals like we do. There is very little gathering of people, and everyone celebrates individually. However, we were able to celebrate our festivals in our hostels. There was a lack of scholarships. The public transportation system in this area is excellent. It's easy to understand and very affordable. There is no chaos, and the roads are wonderful. The traffic rules are strictly enforced, which makes public transportation even safer. In some areas, the fare for a bus is fixed and very cheap, regardless of the destination. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are no Indian restaurants in the Kabardino Balkarian area and not many Indians come to work here. This area is far from major cities like Moscow so the population of Indians and Indian workers is very low. As a result finding Indian food is difficult.

It's a friendly university with consequences.
Tips: Students should know that they will need to obtain a student visa and an invitation letter from the university they plan to attend. There are no scholarships available for international students at this university, but the country is generally welcoming to international students. Our day starts at 9 am, and we all have different faculty members. We have bus access to travel from one faculty to another, and there are events organized by the university. However, international students are very sparsely involved, and there is a bit of a language barrier. We have a main building faculty and very good other building faculties like separate departments. They also have very good knowledgeable teachers. In the six years, there are subjects like Latin, Greek, and Russian language classes for foreign medical students.

Stressful, worst and no good experience at all.
Tips: Before coming to this university, you should know that the university is not good. They are known for taking a lot of fines from students, often in the name of failing exams. You should also know about the university and the surrounding area, including how the university treats Indian students. The teacher of the internship is very bad. They behave very rudely with students. He failed most of the students. He gave 600+ questions to students and taught them nothing. The people are very well-behaved, and the transportation system is well-managed. You can get transportation anywhere and anytime. Good option for MBBS abroad.
Tips: Smolensk State Medical University is a pretty serious college to study, so I had to get serious and put in some serious study time. If you're thinking about applying here, do not slack off, or you might not graduate. The teachers are okay, but you have to be prepared to put in time and do your own research. Self-study is a must to have a clear understanding of the concepts. Besides, it is very cold in winter. The classes start at 8 a.m. and we can easily use the public transportation. It is very convenient, affordable and accessible. People are very friendly as well and will help you in case you need any help. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the country and the university.

Smolensk State Medical University has very limited internship opportunities.
Tips: Firstly, check how the university was, how the campus or campus area was, whether it was habitable or not, and also look at the university's results. There's no part-time work available to students because the university wants us to focus on our studies. The university says that we don't need part-time work, as there are lots of parts to our study plans. A lot of the students disagree with this policy, but it does help us to concentrate on school. Public transportation here is good with routes to every stop and so many buses. There are also private buses that work like public transport. I like it because travel times are reasonable, and the bus stops are all near my apartment. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the country and the college.

Hustle of college life for becoming the best doctor.
Tips: Life won't be as easy as you expect, so be mentally prepared. It's going to be like a proper Indian hostel, with all the usual politics. Cooking is your responsibility, so don't come unprepared. You came here to study, so keep that at the top of your priorities. Student life is a little difficult but it’s good at the same time as we get to learn a lot of new things, which helps the students grow better in the future. Like anywhere else, here there are college politics and hostel politics. But we will make the best memories here, so enjoy and participate in all activities, as after these five years there is no fun. Since there aren’t many options for Indians in this city, it can be tough to find items like Indian food and other basics. It’s also difficult to adjust to your new environment at first, but it gets easier once you get your bearings.

Great university with strong academics and tests fortnightly.
Tips: Before joining this college, you should be aware that you'll be living on your own in an unfamiliar city. You should also know that you may not get your scholarship money right away, so don’t panic. You'll be part of a culture change, though, so you'll have to learn how to celebrate Indian holidays. Student life is good here. Many events happen on the Indian Culture Committee, and everyone who’s interested participates. The campus also hosts a lot of quiz programmes and debate competitions, which are great for students looking to expand their vocabularies. Overall, this is a really nice school that takes your studies seriously.
Dislikes (Value for money): The teachers here are very strict, but it's because they really want us to be good doctors. The testing system is very nice because the teachers give us a moral exam. This helps the teachers weed out students who didn't study but still might manage to pass the written exam.

Tips: We live far from our home, so we have to be independent. But being here, we also get closer to Indian culture, since it's all around us. We get scholarships here, too, if we get the highest scores in our exams. The college itself isn't hard to get into, but safety here is good. Smolensk State Medical University provides scholarship based on scores.
Tips: I recommend learning cooking before you come to college. No smoking or alcohol is allowed on campus, so be prepared to give that up. I've found that the students tend to grow in a positive way in this environment. We also do have scholarships. For one, there's a scholarship for 6500 dollars that’s divided among the top students at the college. We have classes from morning until evening. As a result, we're unable to work. I am primarily here to study. My parents pay for my education. I’m satisfied with this college.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation system is very good and is made up of buses, trams, and “marshutkas” which are mini-buses. The frequency of service for all these modes is quite good, so there is never any long wait. On top of this, they're quite punctual. The charges are also very low and overall, the quality of the service they provide is very good.

Smolensk University does not provide any internship opportunities.
Tips: There is a good environment here. I’ve never heard of any junior students complaining about ragging from a senior. Seniors are very comforting and help a lot during the course. You’ll find that some teachers are strict, while others are very friendly, but either way, the education experience here is very good. You should also know there is an initial scholarship that is taken away if you fail an exam on the first try. The hostel has a strict schedule, but there are strict rules about safety and security. The city people are very friendly and helpful. I don't feel insecure in the city's public transportation, or in public places. All the essential stores and shops are very close to the university and hostels, making life easier. Part-time work is not allowed on a student visa, so working part-time is not permitted. Part-time jobs are available in various shops, but you must be fluent in Russian because the university and teaching staff do not speak English.

College is good and has strong curriculum.
Tips: All students should have basic knowledge from precollege and students should prepare mentally and physically before joining. Students are eligible for scholarships based on their grades. All the learning environment is too friendly for students and their study. There are no opportunities for study because MBBS is a vast and difficult subject. Therefore, we don't have opportunities available for a part-time job. There are too many difficult subjects that can't be handled together with study. The faculty members are highly qualified and demonstrate very good intentions and personal observations toward you. Additionally, the faculty are very friendly and will help you with any problem you encounter. They are also helpful and willing to give personal attention. With all of this, it is no wonder the college has a very good track record of successful results for its graduates. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experiences.

The university only focuses on academics. There are no events or extracurriculars.
Tips: After entering the university it doesn't feel like we are in Russia because there are a lot of Indian students here and the Russian people are very friendly. Scholarships are available up to 8 lakhs per year which can be split among the top students. Public transportation in Smolensk is very affordable and there are many options available. The buses and trams run on time and the roads are clean and well maintained. Taxis are also available at a reasonable price. There is no opportunity for part time work at this university. The university does not allow students to work part time because the MBBS degree has a vast portion that students cannot complete if they are working part-time. The university keeps a close eye on students to ensure that they focus only on their studies. I am satisfied with my university.

Smolesnk State Medical University does not allow us to work part-time.
Tips: One of the most challenging things about attending Smolensk State Medical University is the transition. There is a lot to get used to after coming here from so far away. We have to adjust a lot of things as we leave our comfort zones. In particular, we must adjust to a new food culture, a new family experience, and a new living environment. However, we have scholarships available here at the university for those who work hard enough to get top marks. The university provides one full year’s tuition for the top student and half that for the second-place student. The faculty at my university is really good. There are many good faculty for foreign students. The faculty can speak English very well, and it's helpful to understand them and their teaching style. They are very supportive, easily accessible and approachable. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are lots of part-time jobs available. But the University doesn't allow us to work because we're on student visas. This is good for us, as there's a lot to study for our MBBS program, and we don't have a lot of free time. We're not bothered by that since our main focus is on studying, which we're doing well.

Smolensk state Medical University is best it is the Opportunity to take Admission
Tips: First, check out the university campus and the accommodations, both on and off campus. Try to connect with your seniors and ask them about the course, internship and college. Try to bring warm clothes as it can be very cold during winter. There is no opportunity to work in the city, and the university doesn't allow students to work part-time. This is because this is a medical degree, and the portion is so vast that students cannot complete it if they are working part-time. Overall, I am satisfied with the course and the country.
Likes (Internships): There are lots of practices in universities and hospitals, students can handle a wide range of patients, including those with tuberculosis and lung fibrosis. X-rays are readily available, and medical facilities are excellent, with all medications being affordable at some hospitals. All doctors are careful and well-trained.

Smolensk State Medical University provides numerous internship opportunities.
Tips: It is difficult to survive in Russia at first because of the could climate. However, after two or three months you will get used to it. Other things are normal. You should bring cooking materials like masala and some utensils like a cooker and pan. The university does not allow students to work part-time, which is good because the MBBS course loads is very heavy. The university wants students to focus on their studies and not waste time working. Smolensk has excellent public transportation. There are electric buses, trams, taxi, and marshutkas. You can also rent a car if you have an international driver's license. Traffic is light compared to India, and the signal system is very good, so there are few accidents. Overall, it is a mini India as there are many Indian students in the university.

A place worth living and a degree worth achieving.
Tips: Students should know that it is a long journey, and it is not easy but yes, definitely worth it. There is obviously a transition that suddenly occurs but after spending these many years here, it definitely feels like home. You do get a yearly scholarship here if you score full marks in each subject. I'm satisfied with my choice, in fact, happy to choose this country over others.
Likes (Safety): I feel safe and secure at Smolensk State Medical University. The city is peaceful, and the university and hostel rules that every student must follow contribute to the safety of the campus. Security is a major consideration when choosing a place to study, and Smolensk is a great choice.
Dislikes (Part time work): Students are not allowed to work part-time while studying at Smolensk State Medical University. The university believes that MBBS is a difficult course and does not have any workload. However, if the university had permitted part-time work, everyone would have chosen to do so.

It is an amazing place where we will grow professionally.
Tips: The college is amazing with very good faculty for every subject. The faculty members are well-trained in their respective fields and are more than equipped with knowledge for teaching us. I would suggest students not to have too many expectations, but it will be a good experience working with them.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation is well-connected and affordable. Trams, trolleybuses, and marshrutkas provide service, and the routes are well-connected and on time. The system is also easy to track on maps. The people in the city are friendly and will help you find your way if you need to go somewhere. There are also resting stations available.
Dislikes (Indian Food): We used to cook for ourselves because it was more affordable and cheaper than eating out. There were some Indian restaurants but they were not good enough to eat at every day. The groceries are available at affordable prices and in the hostels, cooking gas is free and shared by everyone. So we could easily make our own food.
