Kemerovo State Medical University is good and affordable for pursuing MBBS.
Tips: In this country, it is almost winter all year round, and the temperature can sometimes drop to -50 degrees Celsius. There is a language barrier that makes it difficult to communicate. You do not need any scholarships to attend this university. You only need to have passed the NEET exam and a test administered by the university. To come here, you will need a passport and warm winter clothes. The public transportation system is good, convenient, and affordable. The price for a bus ticket is 34 rubles, which is less than the price of a cab. However, sometimes it is difficult to access a bus, so we have to take a cab. I am satisfied with the university and the course I am taking.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are very few Indian food options here. There are a lot of non vegetarian options but very few vegetarian options. So if you are a vegetarian you will need to bring some food items from your home country and cook them yourself.

The university has strong curriculum and numerous extra curricular activities.
Tips: Before joining this college, students must know that they must come with Indian spices, as there are no Indian food options. The university provides study books, so it is not necessary to bring books from India. The university is safe for foreign students and is registered with both NMC and WHO. The climate is extreme, with temperatures reaching -40 degrees Celsius in winter and +25 to +30 degrees Celsius in summer.
Likes (Value for money): The quality of education at my university is good, especially for practical work. The faculty provides us with live dead bodies for studying anatomy and microscopes for histology. In addition, the university is good for sports.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are no more food options for vegetarians. If you think of self-cooking, vegetables are expensive, especially if you are vegan. There are no vegan restaurants and no Indian food options. There are some Indian messes, but they are expensive.

Value for money, comfortable study and qualified teachers.
Tips: Students should know that Kemerovo State Medical University is a low-budget institution that provides a comfortable study environment and qualified teachers. The university also admits more students than they have seats for so there are more than thirty students in a group and the tutor does not have time to listen to all the students. However the university is located in an industrial city with many factories and restaurants, so students can find part-time work to supplement their income.
Likes (Part time work): Kemerovo is an industrial city with many factories and restaurants. I was able to find part-time work in the city and I even worked with Russians, which helped me develop my language skills.
Dislikes (Student Life): The student life at Kemerovo State Medical University is not very good. There are few tourist attractions in the city and the hostel rooms are not renovated. The hostel rent is high compared to the rent paid by students who live in rooms. The university admits more students than they have seats so there are more than thirty students in a group.

The college follows NMC guidelines.
Tips: Students should know that the college follows NMC guidelines and must follow the FMGE rule. They should also know about the hostel facilities, total tuition fees, education system, total cost of study, and teaching methods before applying to the university. Because of the heavy snowfall in the area, a cab is an impractical and expensive mode of transportation. However, public transportation is a good option for students because it is safe, affordable, and provides access to all parts of the campus. There are not many part-time job opportunities for Indian students in Russia. There are not many vacancies for Indian students, and if we do get a job, it is very difficult to manage both our studies and work schedules.

The university is amazing and there are lot of extracurriculars for students.
Tips: The biggest cultural shift was in language. Most Russians don't speak or understand English, and even some of the teachers don't speak English. If you are one of the top 10 students, you can get a discount on your tuition fees. My university is nice, the teachers are helpful, and most of the Russians are friendly.
Likes (Part time work): On-campus students can work as translators if they have a good knowledge of the Russian language. Off-campus students have various work options, such as working in a factory or shop. The pay is quite good, for example, 2000-2500 per day, and it can vary depending on the location of the job.
Dislikes (Indian Food): As a vegetarian, I found very few vegetarian options available at this university. In fact, most of the vegetarian options were sweet, so I ended up cooking for myself most of the time. Some of the vegetarian options available were cheese bread, shorma, French fries, and milkshakes. Cheese bread costs between 100 and 300 rubles, depending on the place you eat. Shorma cost between 250 and 350 rubles, and French fries cost 250 rubles.

College is new, not ready for 150-200 students every year.
Tips: The university is accredited and students should try to connect with the alumni. Beware of student agents who may try to steer you toward a particular university. Use the university's official website to get more information. Don't be swayed by low tuition fees. Also consider the city where the university is located, as it may not provide the international exposure you seek.
Likes (Safety): There are security cameras everywhere. Smoke detectors are in every room, and the fire alarm system is very efficient. The police are helpful and friendly towards Indian students. I never worried about walking alone at midnight in the city areas. There are very few cases of theft because the punishments are severe.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): After getting your degree the highest salary you can earn in 2-3 years is 1 lakh per month. This is a low salary for doctors compared to other countries. If you want to earn more, you need to look for jobs in Moscow or Saint Petersburg. Another option is to pursue a career in dentistry, which offers higher earning potential.

The university is simple and basic.
Tips: There are no cultural shifts to speak of, as everything is the same for Indian students. There are no scholarships available now, but that may change in the future. The university is medium-sized, and according to the budget, it's not very good but medium. Students may find it quite boring in the early days.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If we wanted to stay in Russia after graduation, we would have to take an exam in Russian. Like in India, it is difficult to pass the exam because of the Russian language. So if you want to stay in Russia, you need to focus on your studies.
Dislikes (Student Life): It is difficult to adjust to a new university. Also, students may find it difficult to acquire practical knowledge due to a lack of bodies for review. Students should study on their own.

Good option for MBBS abroad.
Tips: Smolensk State Medical University is a pretty serious college to study, so I had to get serious and put in some serious study time. If you're thinking about applying here, do not slack off, or you might not graduate. The teachers are okay, but you have to be prepared to put in time and do your own research. Self-study is a must to have a clear understanding of the concepts. Besides, it is very cold in winter. The classes start at 8 a.m. and we can easily use the public transportation. It is very convenient, affordable and accessible. People are very friendly as well and will help you in case you need any help. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the country and the university.

Smolensk State Medical University has very limited internship opportunities.
Tips: Firstly, check how the university was, how the campus or campus area was, whether it was habitable or not, and also look at the university's results. There's no part-time work available to students because the university wants us to focus on our studies. The university says that we don't need part-time work, as there are lots of parts to our study plans. A lot of the students disagree with this policy, but it does help us to concentrate on school. Public transportation here is good with routes to every stop and so many buses. There are also private buses that work like public transport. I like it because travel times are reasonable, and the bus stops are all near my apartment. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the country and the college.

Hustle of college life for becoming the best doctor.
Tips: Life won't be as easy as you expect, so be mentally prepared. It's going to be like a proper Indian hostel, with all the usual politics. Cooking is your responsibility, so don't come unprepared. You came here to study, so keep that at the top of your priorities. Student life is a little difficult but it’s good at the same time as we get to learn a lot of new things, which helps the students grow better in the future. Like anywhere else, here there are college politics and hostel politics. But we will make the best memories here, so enjoy and participate in all activities, as after these five years there is no fun. Since there aren’t many options for Indians in this city, it can be tough to find items like Indian food and other basics. It’s also difficult to adjust to your new environment at first, but it gets easier once you get your bearings.

Great university with strong academics and tests fortnightly.
Tips: Before joining this college, you should be aware that you'll be living on your own in an unfamiliar city. You should also know that you may not get your scholarship money right away, so don’t panic. You'll be part of a culture change, though, so you'll have to learn how to celebrate Indian holidays. Student life is good here. Many events happen on the Indian Culture Committee, and everyone who’s interested participates. The campus also hosts a lot of quiz programmes and debate competitions, which are great for students looking to expand their vocabularies. Overall, this is a really nice school that takes your studies seriously.
Dislikes (Value for money): The teachers here are very strict, but it's because they really want us to be good doctors. The testing system is very nice because the teachers give us a moral exam. This helps the teachers weed out students who didn't study but still might manage to pass the written exam.

Our college is mostly studies oriented and also we celebrate many festivals.
Tips: We live far from our home, so we have to be independent. But being here, we also get closer to Indian culture, since it's all around us. We get scholarships here, too, if we get the highest scores in our exams. The college itself isn't hard to get into, but safety here is good. There are no clinical postings and we don't get any internship. We have to find it on our own. The weather can be extremely cold so don't forget to bring warm clothes.

Tips: Should know how to live here in the new country, mainly away from home. Life abroad is not easy, but it’s okay if you have good people around. And, the university is also affordable for students in the general category. But there are no internship opportunities here. The teaching staff is great, though. Public transportation is widely accessible, convenient and affordable. Try to get a hold of ian nternship for practical knowledge. Overall, I am happy with my experiences.

Smolensk State Medical University provides scholarship based on scores.
Tips: I recommend learning cooking before you come to college. No smoking or alcohol is allowed on campus, so be prepared to give that up. I've found that the students tend to grow in a positive way in this environment. We also do have scholarships. For one, there's a scholarship for 6500 dollars that’s divided among the top students at the college. We have classes from morning until evening. As a result, we're unable to work. I am primarily here to study. My parents pay for my education. I’m satisfied with this college.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation system is very good and is made up of buses, trams, and “marshutkas” which are mini-buses. The frequency of service for all these modes is quite good, so there is never any long wait. On top of this, they're quite punctual. The charges are also very low and overall, the quality of the service they provide is very good.

Smolensk University does not provide any internship opportunities.
Tips: There is a good environment here. I’ve never heard of any junior students complaining about ragging from a senior. Seniors are very comforting and help a lot during the course. You’ll find that some teachers are strict, while others are very friendly, but either way, the education experience here is very good. You should also know there is an initial scholarship that is taken away if you fail an exam on the first try. The hostel has a strict schedule, but there are strict rules about safety and security. The city people are very friendly and helpful. I don't feel insecure in the city's public transportation, or in public places. All the essential stores and shops are very close to the university and hostels, making life easier. Part-time work is not allowed on a student visa, so working part-time is not permitted. Part-time jobs are available in various shops, but you must be fluent in Russian because the university and teaching staff do not speak English.

Tips: I had to travel to this college, and I have to admit that during my travel, I did have some concerns. But, I have found the faculty to be very friendly and approachable, and I found the staff to be just as amiable and helpful. College is good and has strong curriculum.
Tips: All students should have basic knowledge from precollege and students should prepare mentally and physically before joining. Students are eligible for scholarships based on their grades. All the learning environment is too friendly for students and their study. There are no opportunities for study because MBBS is a vast and difficult subject. Therefore, we don't have opportunities available for a part-time job. There are too many difficult subjects that can't be handled together with study. The faculty members are highly qualified and demonstrate very good intentions and personal observations toward you. Additionally, the faculty are very friendly and will help you with any problem you encounter. They are also helpful and willing to give personal attention. With all of this, it is no wonder the college has a very good track record of successful results for its graduates. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experiences.

The university only focuses on academics. There are no events or extracurriculars.
Tips: After entering the university it doesn't feel like we are in Russia because there are a lot of Indian students here and the Russian people are very friendly. Scholarships are available up to 8 lakhs per year which can be split among the top students. Public transportation in Smolensk is very affordable and there are many options available. The buses and trams run on time and the roads are clean and well maintained. Taxis are also available at a reasonable price. There is no opportunity for part time work at this university. The university does not allow students to work part time because the MBBS degree has a vast portion that students cannot complete if they are working part-time. The university keeps a close eye on students to ensure that they focus only on their studies. I am satisfied with my university.

Smolesnk State Medical University does not allow us to work part-time.
Tips: One of the most challenging things about attending Smolensk State Medical University is the transition. There is a lot to get used to after coming here from so far away. We have to adjust a lot of things as we leave our comfort zones. In particular, we must adjust to a new food culture, a new family experience, and a new living environment. However, we have scholarships available here at the university for those who work hard enough to get top marks. The university provides one full year’s tuition for the top student and half that for the second-place student. The faculty at my university is really good. There are many good faculty for foreign students. The faculty can speak English very well, and it's helpful to understand them and their teaching style. They are very supportive, easily accessible and approachable. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are lots of part-time jobs available. But the University doesn't allow us to work because we're on student visas. This is good for us, as there's a lot to study for our MBBS program, and we don't have a lot of free time. We're not bothered by that since our main focus is on studying, which we're doing well.

Smolensk state Medical University is best it is the Opportunity to take Admission
Tips: First, check out the university campus and the accommodations, both on and off campus. Try to connect with your seniors and ask them about the course, internship and college. Try to bring warm clothes as it can be very cold during winter. There is no opportunity to work in the city, and the university doesn't allow students to work part-time. This is because this is a medical degree, and the portion is so vast that students cannot complete it if they are working part-time. Overall, I am satisfied with the course and the country.
Likes (Internships): There are lots of practices in universities and hospitals, students can handle a wide range of patients, including those with tuberculosis and lung fibrosis. Tips: It is difficult to survive in Russia at first because of the could climate. However, after two or three months you will get used to it. Other things are normal. You should bring cooking materials like masala and some utensils like a cooker and pan. The university does not allow students to work part-time, which is good because the MBBS course loads is very heavy. The university wants students to focus on their studies and not waste time working. Smolensk has excellent public transportation. There are electric buses, trams, taxi, and marshutkas. A place worth living and a degree worth achieving.
Tips: Students should know that it is a long journey, and it is not easy but yes, definitely worth it. There is obviously a transition that suddenly occurs but after spending these many years here, it definitely feels like home. You do get a yearly scholarship here if you score full marks in each subject. I'm satisfied with my choice, in fact, happy to choose this country over others.
Likes (Safety): I feel safe and secure at Smolensk State Medical University. The city is peaceful, and the university and hostel rules that every student must follow contribute to the safety of the campus. Security is a major consideration when choosing a place to study, and Smolensk is a great choice.
Dislikes (Part time work): Students are not allowed to work part-time while studying at Smolensk State Medical University. It is an amazing place where we will grow professionally.
Tips: The college is amazing with very good faculty for every subject. The faculty members are well-trained in their respective fields and are more than equipped with knowledge for teaching us. I would suggest students not to have too many expectations, but it will be a good experience working with them.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation is well-connected and affordable. Trams, trolleybuses, and marshrutkas provide service, and the routes are well-connected and on time. The system is also easy to track on maps. The people in the city are friendly and will help you find your way if you need to go somewhere. There are also resting stations available.
Dislikes (Indian Food): We used to cook for ourselves because it was more affordable and cheaper than eating out. There were some Indian restaurants but they were not good enough to eat at every day. The groceries are available at affordable prices and in the hostels, cooking gas is free and shared by everyone. So we could easily make our own food.
