There are not many internship options available.
Tips: There was a massive change in cultural shift. It starts from as basic as addressing to a proof to writing the exams. Since it's a public university, the scholarship from the government is itself very rare and particularly less for international students. The university is alright, although the course and the way of education are really different from that compared to India. Exams are more of application based rather than memorising stuff. The country ofcourse has a lot more to offer. The person you become while navigating cultural differences in a language you don't speak is never possible to achieve while being in the comfort of home.
Likes (Value for money): Since it's a public university, the semester contribution is only for the use of public transport and hence the fee is 0. The semester contribution is the bare minimum compared to that of private universities. The fee in a public university depends on the city.
Dislikes (Internships): There are not many internship options available. One has to find on their own and it is really competitive to find a position. Especially in another country we need to find good connections and networking as finding a job or an internship is completely on you.

PSE takes a lot from you but it also gives you a lot more
Tips: Yes, it's always going to be a little difficult at the start, but it gets better soon. It is extremely important to push yourself, take part in social activities, and be regular in class. Even if attendance isn't checked or you don't understand everything going on in class, don't let that discourage you. Show up and ask for help. Yes, the French Government Scholarship, aka the Charpak scholarship, for the year 2023-2025 was an allowance of 850 euros per month. Even though I struggled during my M1 and took my time with it overall, it was a very rewarding experience, and I can finally call myself a Master of Economics. M2 was great, where you get to choose the courses you want to specialize in.
Likes (Value for money): In my year as a Charpak scholar (a French government scholarship), I paid nothing, and even if I didn't have the scholarship, it was a 350 euro tuition fee, even for international students. I don't think it's the same anymore, but even with 3500 euros as tuition, it's totally value for money, especially when one compares it with the UK.
Dislikes (Part time work): We are not encouraged to take part-time work, given it's an intense master's with a lot to study! But one can explore and find jobs at the exceptions desk or in the student canteen (CROUS), given you are proactive enough, speak a little French, and, more than that willing to learn.
