MBBS - Batch of 2026
4.2
This college prefers quality of education over quality of living
Tips: Infrastructure is not up to the mark yet. Teachers overwork you unnecessarily. There are hardly any extra curricular activities. You are not allowed to have off campus accommodation stating security concerns only to pay hefty hostel fees. Foreign students are often treated as second priority.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Easy immigration process. Embassy is quite helpful in providing you with guidance for application process. There are people available to help with all the paper work and language barrier is also not a big problem. People are well versed with English.
Dislikes (Part time work): No part time job options available on student visa. You have to apply a separate work visa for a part time job. Finding a part time job and being a female medical student is a struggle within itself. There are no easy job openings that come under your working hours.

MBBS - Batch of 2019
4.1
The campus is really nice. There are good open spaces with a lot of greenery.
Tips: Campus life is pretty good. There are many societies that keep students engaged in activities throughout their college life perhaps, there is strictness for assignments and attendance in the college. All the people and the faculty are really nice and helpful. There are a lot of places to hangout within the campus, a lot of gardens. There's a huge ground for sports and cultural clubs too.
Likes (Value for money): The college is definitely value for money. The fees, academic, infrastructure and opportunities are not perfect but it is value for money. There is always a scope of improvement and I believe college authorities are doing there quite well. I'm in category 5 so it costs around 5 lakh a year for tuition, had I been in some lesser fee category I would've said that the college is 100% value for money but still its a place where I can get the platform to do things I'm intrested in and showcase my talent.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Friendly and helpful faculty. They encourage the students in various fields and interest. Faculty themselves are involved in cultural and social events to fill the gap between students and them. They conduct many seminars to educate the students in practical terms.

It has been a transformative experience studying at Jiangsu University.
Tips: The rigorous curriculum experienced faculty and immersive cultural environment contribute to a well rounded medical education. Studying here broadened my perspective and prepared me for a global medical career. The university rules require students to complete Chinese proficiency exams before graduation. Chinese Government Scholarships are awarded through a competitive application process providing full tuition coverage and a monthly allowance of 3000 RMB.
Likes (Part time work): The campus is beautiful and the city of Zhenjiang is a great place to live. The university organizes cultural nights sports tournaments and academic conferences and I prioritize academic events and enjoy cultural celebrations. Student life includes the International Student Unions medical societies, and language clubs and living and learning in China offers a unique perspective on global healthcare and fosters deep personal growth alongside rigorous medical training.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are dedicated and very knowledgeable and they provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The professors are accessible hold regular office hours and respond promptly to student inquiries. The unique project based learning and tech-enhanced lectures promote practical skill development alongside theoretical understanding. The international faculty hailing from China, India, Germany and beyond enriches learning by sharing diverse perspectives and fostering cross cultural competence essential for global healthcare. Their commitment extends beyond academics offering career and personal development guidance.
