It is difficult to manage part-time and studies.
Tips: First of all, the student should pass the NEET exam which is held in India. After passing, you can directly contact the University through their site, mrsu.ru, and then apply and wait for a response. Alternatively, you could go through a study abroad agent, who will take care of everything. But, beware of fraudsters out there. In India, Indian medical graduates and foreign graduates have the same opportunities as doctors, but foreign medical graduates have to first pass the FMG exam to be eligible to practice. Upon passing the exam, one can be a doctor in India or any country except India. I am having a hard time finding time to study with my hectic schedule, and it is hard to balance a job and attending all the events I had hoped to attend. The language barrier has made this experience challenging, too, and I find it difficult to effectively communicate with my employers. I also have been having a hard time managing the cold weather.

Excellent university and wonderful activities. Be aware about the climatic condition.
Tips: The people there are very friendly and polite; they are very good, but keep an eye on the climatic conditions. There's some general information that may help students considering joining a college: Before Joining the College: Research: Understand the college's reputation, curriculum, faculty, and campus life. Course details: Clarify the course structure, duration, and career prospects. Admission process: Familiarize yourself with the application process, deadlines, and requirements. Scholarship opportunities: Explore available scholarships, eligibility criteria, and application procedures. Campus facilities: Know about the college's infrastructure, amenities, and support services.
Likes (Student Life): I didn't rate anything, but I'll provide general information about student life. Student life is a vibrant and dynamic experience that offers a wide range of opportunities for personal growth, learning, and enjoyment. Typical Day in College: A typical day in college can vary depending on the student's schedule and preferences. Here's an overview: 1. Classes: Attend lectures, seminars, and workshops. 2. Study sessions: Spend time studying, reading, and working on assignments. 3. Club activities: Participate in student clubs, organizations, or sports teams. 4. Socializing: Hang out with friends, grab meals together, or attend campus events. 5. Personal time: Pursue hobbies, exercise, or relax. Campus Events: Colleges often organize various events, such as: 1. Cultural festivals: Celebrating diversity and cultural heritage. 2. Concerts and performances: Music, dance, theater, or comedy shows. 3. Guest lectures: Renowned speakers sharing expertise and insights. 4. Workshops and seminars: Skill-building and professional development opportunities. 5. Sports tournaments: Intercollegiate competitions and friendly matches. Student Clubs and Communities: Colleges typically have a range of student clubs and communities, including: 1. Academic clubs: Focused on specific subjects or interests. 2. Cultural organizations: Celebrating diverse backgrounds and traditions. 3. Sports teams: Competitive and recreational teams for various sports. 4. Creative clubs: Music, art, writing, photography, or other creative pursuits. 5. Community service groups: Volunteering and making a positive impact. Participation in campus events and student clubs can vary depending on individual interests and schedules.
Dislikes (Part time work): I rated part-time work 4 out of 5 because it offers flexibility, income, and career growth opportunities, making it an excellent choice for students and individuals with other commitments. On-Campus Part-Time Jobs: Many universities offer part-time jobs on campus, such as library assistants, research assistants, teaching assistants, and student ambassadors. These jobs provide a convenient way to balance work and academics, as they are often flexible and understanding of students' schedules. Off-Campus Opportunities: Off-campus part-time jobs are plentiful, with opportunities in retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, and customer service. You can search for part-time jobs on online job portals like Indeed, Glassdoor, or LinkedIn, or check company websites directly. Additionally, platforms like OLX offer a range of part-time job listings, including work-from-home opportunities. Manageability with Academics: Part-time work can be manageable with academics if you're organized and prioritize your tasks. Many part-time jobs offer flexible scheduling, which allows you to balance work and study commitments. However, it's essential to communicate your academic commitments with your employers to ensure a smooth balance between work and studies.

A very good college but no value for money. Fee is expensive.
Tips: I did not feel any sort of transition since I started staying in this city. I didn't have any scholarship. I came directly through a consultancy which was not official here before coming through the parental consultancy of the university. After reaching here, you will be taken care of by the coordinators of the hostel and will be provided with every facility.
Likes (Safety): The city is very safe. Not only the city, the hostel itself has very good security. No one except for students are allowed inside the hostels. Even outside the city is very safe. It is a good city to explore for one time. Once, I had lost my phone somewhere but I found it quickly because of the high security over here.
Dislikes (Value for money): The fee is not justified for this university. At the same fees you may get very good universities in different parts of Russia. So I don't recommend this university. Prefer choosing other universities having more experienced professors and that have better infrastructure.

The college is good but it is not value for money.
Tips: The college is good but it is not worth the money. There are better options at the same price. The college is strict and requires hard study to pass the exams. You'll have seminars every week. If you want to join this university, go with New Era Consultancy. They provide admission at the best price. NEET and 50% in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are mandatory. There are no metro or subways in Saransk, but there are various types of buses, including minibuses, trolley buses, and electric buses. Bus fares are very reasonable at 30 rubles, and you can travel to any destination for the same fare.
Dislikes (Part time work): There is no scope for part-time work while studying at this university. Most students stay on campus and are only able to work during vacation time. However, if you do not travel to your home country during vacation, you may be able to find part-time work.

Bundle up for winters and buckle down for exams.
Tips: If you are willing to come to this university, you better prepare for the winter. Winters are really bad in Russia, and the temperature in the city can go below -20/25 degrees Celsius. Also, if you are a vegetarian, you better learn to cook. There are not many sources of vegetarian food available, and even in the winter, you will not find a variety of vegetables. As for academics, I don't know about the other courses, but in medical school, some teachers and facilities are really good. You also need to prepare for the semester exams.
Likes (Safety): The people in the city are good, and I haven't heard of any major incidents involving students. The main building at the university has a security check, and we have to use a tapping card to enter most buildings on campus.
Dislikes (Part time work): I was on a student visa, so I was not able to work part-time while I was studying. However, I did see some students from other countries working part-time at clubs and restaurants. I have never done any kind of part-time job throughout my academic year.

Kemerovo State Medical University is good and affordable for pursuing MBBS.
Tips: In this country, it is almost winter all year round, and the temperature can sometimes drop to -50 degrees Celsius. There is a language barrier that makes it difficult to communicate. You do not need any scholarships to attend this university. You only need to have passed the NEET exam and a test administered by the university. To come here, you will need a passport and warm winter clothes. The public transportation system is good, convenient, and affordable. The price for a bus ticket is 34 rubles, which is less than the price of a cab. However, sometimes it is difficult to access a bus, so we have to take a cab. Overall, I am satisfied with the university and the course I am taking.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are very few Indian food options here. There are a lot of non-vegetarian options, but very few vegetarian options. So, if you are a vegetarian, you will need to bring some food items from your home country and cook them yourself.

The university has strong curriculum and numerous extra curricular activities.
Tips: Before joining this college, students must know that they must come with Indian spices, as there are no Indian food options. The university provides study books, so it is not necessary to bring books from India. The university is safe for foreign students and is registered with both NMC and WHO. The climate is extreme, with temperatures reaching -40 degrees Celsius in winter and +25 to +30 degrees Celsius in summer.
Likes (Value for money): The quality of education at my university is good, especially for practical work. The faculty provides us with live dead bodies for studying anatomy and microscopes for histology. In addition, the university is good for sports.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are no more food options for vegetarians. If you think of self-cooking, vegetables are expensive, especially if you are vegan. There are no vegan restaurants and no Indian food options. There are some Indian messes, but they are expensive.

Everything is great. There are lots of events, sports and clubs.
Tips: Before joining, students should understand the course curriculum, duration, and career prospects. Check the accreditation to verify the institution's recognition and credibility. Ensure language proficiency in both English and the local language. Familiarize yourself with the application deadline and procedures. Calculate expenses and explore scholarship opportunities. Learn about extracurricular activities and support services. Prepare for cultural and environmental adjustments. Also, the weather here is hard and extremely cold during winter so prepare yourself.
Likes (Post study jobs): The classes were challenging, but I learned a lot. There were also many extracurricular activities to choose from, including sports, concerts, and student clubs. Overall, it was a great experience.
Dislikes (Part time work): The teachers are very kind and highly educated. They have in-depth knowledge and experience in their fields and are passionate about teaching. They take a student-centric approach, prioritizing student needs and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Kemerovo State Medical University has strict rules and regulations.
Tips: The admission process typically involves applying an online application followed by the review of the application and supporting documentation. Some may require additional steps like interviews or entrance exams. Students should thoroughly research the course and the university. The faculty are quite understanding so don't hesitate to raise any doubts. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Safety): The police are friendly to foreigners, but petty crimes such as pickpocketing, scams, and vandalism are common in tourist areas. Terrorism has occurred in the past, and public gatherings can become violent, resulting in foreigners being detained or question.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is difficult to find a job without strong Russian language skills. However, there are opportunities to teach a language, including English German, Spanish, French, and Chinese. You can also write for an online periodical, a culture guide, or a website. You can also assist teachers with tasks such as lesson planning and guiding students. There are also jobs in retail sales and customer service, but these require strong Russian language skills.

Value for money, comfortable study and qualified teachers.
Tips: Students should know that Kemerovo State Medical University is a low-budget institution that provides a comfortable study environment and qualified teachers. The university also admits more students than they have seats for, so there are more than thirty students in a group, and the tutor does not have time to listen to all the students. However, the university is located in an industrial city with many factories and restaurants, so students can find part-time work to supplement their income.
Likes (Part time work): Kemerovo is an industrial city with many factories and restaurants. I was able to find part-time work in the city and I even worked with Russians, which helped me develop my language skills.
Dislikes (Student Life): The student life at Kemerovo State Medical University is not very good. There are few tourist attractions in the city, and the hostel rooms are not renovated. The hostel rent is high compared to the rent paid by students who live in rooms. The university admits more students than they have seats for, so there are more than thirty students in a group, and the tutor does not have time to listen to all the students.

The college follows NMC guidelines.
Tips: Students should know that the college follows NMC guidelines and must follow the FMGE rule. They should also know about the hostel facilities, total tuition fees, education system, total cost of study, and teaching methods before applying to the university. Because of the heavy snowfall in the area, a cab is an impractical and expensive mode of transportation. However, public transportation is a good option for students because it is safe, affordable, and provides access to all parts of the campus. There are not many part-time job opportunities for Indian students in Russia. There are not many vacancies for Indian students, and if we do get a job, it is very difficult to manage both our studies and work schedules.

The university is good and the tuition fees are reasonable.
Tips: The college is affordable, and the facilities are well-maintained. The weather can be a problem, but it can be managed with central heaters. The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated. The buildings for classes are a bit far apart, so we use public transportation such as buses to get around. Once we get a student bus card, it won't be too expensive. We go to other buildings twice a week, and it's not too hard to catch the bus because we have mobile apps that show the bus arrival times. The professors are knowledgeable and helpful. The tuition fees are reasonable, especially when compared to other colleges in Russia. The fees are also lower than what they are in India, where the same course can cost crores. Another advantage is that the fees can be paid in instalments, which gives students enough time to pay. The campus is safe and secure. Overall, it is a good college with a positive learning environment.

The university is amazing and there are lot of extracurriculars for students.
Tips: The biggest cultural shift was in language. Most Russians don't speak or understand English, and even some of the teachers don't speak English. If you are one of the top 10 students, you can get a discount on your tuition fees. My university is nice, the teachers are helpful, and most of the Russians are friendly.
Likes (Part time work): On-campus students can work as translators if they have a good knowledge of the Russian language. Off-campus students have various work options, such as working in a factory or shop. The pay is quite good, for example, 2000-2500 per day, and it can vary depending on the location of the job.
Dislikes (Indian Food): As a vegetarian, I found very few vegetarian options available at this university. In fact, most of the vegetarian options were sweet, so I ended up cooking for myself most of the time. Some of the vegetarian options available were cheese bread, shorma, French fries, and milkshakes. Cheese bread costs between 100 and 300 rubles, depending on the place you eat. Shorma cost between 250 and 350 rubles, and French fries cost 250 rubles.

The university is really affordable and provides great education.
Tips: This is an average college that is good if you want a budget-friendly college. However, you will need to learn Russian because most people don't speak English here except for a few teachers who teach the main subjects. Also, there are no scholarships available right now, and no one has received any. Additionally, there is a major cultural shift after moving here.
Likes (Student Life): The classses are well-organized and cover a wide range of topics. The instructors are knowledgeable and engaging, and the coursework is challenging but not overwhelming. The university also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including concerts, which help to create a well-rounded educational experience.
Dislikes (Part time work): The pay is not great, but it is possible to manage both work and academics. If you have a loan, working part-time is a good way to help pay for your education. There are off-campus opportunities available, such as working in ice cream factories for girls and ozone plants for boys.

College is new, not ready for 150-200 students every year.
Tips: The university is accredited, and students should try to connect with the alumni. Beware of student agents who may try to steer you toward a particular university. Use the university's official website to get more information. Don't be swayed by low tuition fees. Also, consider the city where the university is located, as it may not provide the international exposure you seek.
Likes (Safety): There are security cameras everywhere. Smoke detectors are in every room, and the fire alarm system is very efficient. The police are helpful and friendly towards Indian students. I never worried about walking alone at midnight in the city areas. There are very few cases of theft because the punishments are severe.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): After getting your degree, the highest salary you can earn in 2-3 years is 1 lakh per month. This is a low salary for doctors compared to other countries. If you want to earn more, you need to look for jobs in Moscow or Saint Petersburg. Another option is to pursue a career in dentistry, which offers higher earning potential. To broaden your employment opportunities, it is advisable to learn Russian as soon as possible.

The university is simple and basic.
Tips: There are no cultural shifts to speak of, as everything is the same for Indian students. There are no scholarships available now, but that may change in the future. The university is medium-sized, and according to the budget, it's not very good but medium. Students may find it quite boring in the early days.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If we wanted to stay in Russia after graduation, we would have to take an exam in Russian. Like in India, it is difficult to pass the exam because of the Russian language. So if you want to stay in Russia, you need to focus on your studies.
Dislikes (Student Life): It is difficult to adjust to a new university. Also, students may find it difficult to acquire practical knowledge due to a lack of bodies for review. Students should study on their own.
