Perm State Medical University has many events on-campus and we celebrate Indian festivals as well.
Tips: In terms of culture, the shift was minor because we lived with people from the same community. This made the transition easier because we didn’t feel like we were too far away from home. Plus, we were able to celebrate all of our Indian festivals. I was not offered a scholarship, however, I found a decent, local agency that provided an allowance, and I was able to adjust to the new culture thanks to them. The faculty are helpful and positive, and their teaching methods are unique. They have an app for 3D virtual reality cases that lets you have hands-on practice. Furthermore, this is a diverse institution because the treatment protocols used vary from one country to another. The food is decent but soon your taste buds will give up as Indians we are used to getting spicier food.

Multicultural environment and academic oriented.
Tips: Be responsible academically, physically, and mentally, and bring exchange money to welcome you to the first day of class. You'll be living and learning in a foreign country, and you'll be able to try new things that you'd never do back home. I usually prefer cooking to eating out, but sadly, there aren’t many options available for Indian food in the area. What we find available is Russian or other, non-Indian food. The faculty are very helpful and will guide you throughout the semester however, a few of them can not teach in English so it might be difficult a times. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.

One of the oldest universities in Russia that uses robotics to treat patients.
Tips: Everyone can Google our university name, and on the university website, everyone can check all the details before joining the university. It is one of the oldest universities in Russia and is recognized as being under 1000 in the world rankings. It is academically oriented, with all the teaching faculty members being very excellent. NEET exam qualifying marks are required to join our university.
Likes (Safety): Our campus security follows the rules of the Russian government. They provide us with all the facilities, and special CCTV cameras are installed all around our campus. Student safety is our university's first priority. The Dean of our university provides us with all the safety measures on campus. The city is beautiful, and the destination is excellent. It provides us with all the necessary things that we require in our daily lives.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The quality of our faculty is very good, and they are easily accessible. They teach us every subject with proper information and, according to our syllabus, clear all our doubts, take grand tests, and make sure our syllabus is ready for us. The teaching methodology in our university is unique in its own way. They teach us every subject thoroughly with rapid revision and conceptual understanding. Robotics are being used here and are also utilized in our hospital for treating patients as well.

The university is good. It has strong academics and the faculty are amazing.
Tips: After joining PSMU, I have changed a lot. I have experienced different cultures and had to manage my monthly expenses. Sometimes my expenses would end in the middle of the month, and I had to figure out how to survive without money. However, I was able to participate in a student exchange program that allowed me to travel to other countries.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty at Perm State Medical University is amazing. Top surgeons from Russia teach us and they all speak English. Classes are in two shifts one in the morning and one in the evening. The schedule is hectic, but don't worry the faculty at Psmu is excellent.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I usually cooked my own meals but when I had classes I sometimes ate out. The exchange rate between the ruble and the Indian rupee was about equal so if your parents send you 20,000 rupees, you will receive about 20,000 rubles. There is an Indian restaurant in Perm called Lakshmi that serves good food at a reasonable price.

Challenging academics but caring community.
Tips: Students should be prepared to be independent before coming here. Things will get tough but eventually, everyone gets through that. But people here are so helpful and they try to understand you. There are always events and activities that students can participate in. But the best part for me is that I feel free to do things on my own. I feel very liberal and carefree here, and it really feels great. Overall it's a win place to study.
Dislikes (Student Life): The transportation at Perm State Medical University is very affordable and easily accessible, so students can get to their respective departments on time. The teaching is very diverse, as students from all over the world come here to pursue their medical degrees. Practical as well as theoretical courses are well taught here.

Perm State Medical University has highly qualified faculty and are very supportive and helpful.
Tips: Perm State University is a globally recognized university under WHO affiliation and NMC guidelines. It offers English medium courses and has the highest quality teaching faculty members in each subject. The campus is socially oriented and highly organized, and medical instruments and facilities are provided for every subject. The university is located in the Perm Krai region of Russia, which is near the Ural Mountains. The university is one of the top medical schools in Russia. The cost of attendance is very reasonable, and the facilities are modern. The courses are challenging, but the faculty is very supportive.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transportation is very good here. The main public transport we use is bus transport and tram transport. Everything is on time and the transportation facility is very good. We use our bus card for transportation service which costs 1000 rubles per month.

The student life at Perm State Medical University is excellent. The teaching facilities are excellent and the instructors provide good guidance. The city is very beautiful and I enjoy living here.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time work is very flexible in Russia. During college students can find part-time jobs that allow them to study and work at the same time. Part time jobs are easy to find and pay well which helps students cover their expenses.

An inspiring and supportive learning environment.
Tips: There are some cultural shifts to deal with when you come here. You will encounter new cultures, languages, customs, traditions, and social norms. You may also need to adapt to a new academic system with different teaching styles and assessment methods. I didn't avail of any scholarships. If you want to settle in this country, you can. The people here are friendly and polite. You'll have access to new educational institutions, resources, and opportunities. You'll also get to experience a new culture, resources, and communities. You can feel very safe over here. People follow the rules and regulations, and the country has a very low crime rate. The people are helpful and polite, and they follow traffic rules properly. The salary is good so if you need or want to work part-time you can do it. The public transport system here is great as well. Great college with supportive teachers.
Tips: The college is very welcoming and we have supportive faculty who help us when we are stuck during classes. But there are better options and opportunities in other countries or even India. I suggest you think about it with your free mind and then make this decision. Most of the food contains chicken or beef. If you don't eat meat, you'll have fewer options than those who do. While the university provides basic vegetables and rains that you can cook yourself, there are no Indian restaurants on campus. Public transport is good but not great. Some buses run very frequently, while others are frequent and unreliable. The bus fare is reasonable, but it is increasing. As of April, the fare will be 40 rubles per ride. Overall, I am satisfied with my university.

Perm State Medical University is one of the best university recognised globally.
Tips: Perm State Medical University is one of the best universities in Russia. It provides proper guidance and excellent teaching facilities. It is a great place to pursue MBBS, and the campus environment is very good. Public transportation in Perm, Russia, is excellent. Buses run every five minutes, and the transportation system is fully government-controlled and under CCTV coverage. The buses have a highly insulated thermal system, so you won't get cold inside. The transportation system maintains a schedule and runs on time.
Dislikes (Part time work): In this country part time jobs are available but they are difficult to get. Attendance is mandatory and the syllabus is extensive. Students who want to work part time must do so outside of their studies. However due to the high pressure of their studies many students do not prefer to work part-time.

Perm State Medical University is one of the best option for a student to pursue MBBS.
Tips: Perm State Medical University named after Professor E. A. Wagner is one of the world's most highly ranked colleges and is academically well-regarded. The environment is highly professional, and the education is very good, with proper guidance and discipline. Many students get the highest rank in FMGE after completing the course. Our course is six years long, and the internship is in the sixth year. During the internship, we are taught about the different curves of diseases and how to diagnose and treat them. We also get to practice in 20 different hospitals that are part of our university. After completing our course, we can pursue a postgraduate degree in any field of study. If we choose cardiology, it will take three more years to complete. After that, we can find a job here, and permanent immigration is granted after living in this country for ten years. Tips: The university has an eco-friendly environment and provides proper education and guidance. However, there is no cultural shift and no scholarship is provided. The college is just average as compared to the amount of fees charged.
Tips: I had a nice transition to this college. I met some foreign friends who shared their culture with me. We shared experiences and went to different places together. I also learned a bit about fashion sense from observing the Russian people who always dress appropriately. Public transportation in this city is good and is convenient, and safe and makes it easy to get anywhere in the city, including the university. The bus routes are extensive and the trains run frequently. The buses and trains are clean and well maintained and the drivers are courteous and helpful. I am quite satisfied with my experiences.

High fee structure on the basis of its quality.
Tips: After coming here my life has changed in many ways. I have experienced a totally different culture, food and lifestyle. The living standards and quality of life here are great and I feel safe walking around with expensive items. But the thing that attracted my attention the most is the quality of life of the students. They can live their lives freely without any tension enjoy playing sports outside and choose any profession they want. They can earn a nice amount in any profession, whether it be a delivery boy a taxi driver or a professor. The public transportation system here is good. It's very convenient and I can get anywhere in the city very smoothly. It's also very helpful for getting to the university.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Russian cuisine is very different from Indian cuisine and it doesn't match our taste for using spices. Also Indians prefer to buy fresh raw products but here almost everything is frozen or processed. There are no Indian restaurants or any restaurants with similar tastes available here. So I prefer to cook at home to eat Indian food which is also healthier and cheaper.

The university is decent and peaceful but the infrastructure is not up to the mark.
Tips: Students should be aware of Russian winters, language and culture before joining the university. I suggest that students behave themselves and not create messes in public places. Students should avoid conflicts and focus on their studies. Attend all classes be consistent and punctual and stay focused on their studies. Perm is a decent city for a student who is trying to manage expenses. Although medical students in Russia don't have much time for fun, on weekends they can go out and have some fun. And Russians are welcoming and don't discriminate, with a few exceptions.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The teachers were so cooperative and helpful. Some teachers went out of their way to help us, while others were not so good. Of course we can't expect everyone to be perfect. However there is room for improvement especially in making classes more interactive.

Inspiring, supportive, and great learning environment.
Tips: Students who want to join here must know that Russia is a winter country, so they must buy proper winter clothes and jackets. Also, they must learn a little bit of the language, although our college provides Russian classes until the fifth year, so you don't have to worry about that. Scholarships are provided only by the counsellor. The campus is really safe. In addition to campus security, police cars were always patrolling the area. If there was an emergency, the response was very fast. There were emergency safety cameras and microphones at every bus stop, and cameras were everywhere.
Dislikes (Indian Food): While in Russia, you can enjoy traditional dishes like Borscht, Pirozhki, Shashlik, and Blini, as well as snacks and desserts like Pryanik and Vareniki. How i survived my college phase.
Tips: First of all be mentally prepared to struggle. When you will land here you will be filled with enthusiasm but it will vanish. Language barriers. Cultural difference. Indian food problem. With university, course and country, I am fully satisfied. You must be prepared to fight the harsh winter weather.
Likes (Post study jobs): The reason I rated post-study jobs so highly isn’t because massive corporations are coming to campus to recruit us—that’s just not how medical employment works. Instead, the university gives you a massive leg up by setting up direct pipelines into the local hospital network after graduation. Once you finish your degree and pass the state accreditation exams, you can basically apply to any hospital or clinic on your own across Russia. As a fresh graduate, you start out in a junior doctor or general practitioner role, usually working as a primary care physician. The starting salary kicks off at around 60,000 rubles a month, which is a pretty solid base for a freshman medic. Plus, if you want to specialize later, the university hospital connections make it way easier to transition into a proper residency spot.
Dislikes (Part time work): The off-campus jobs are minimal. Quality jobs and jobs related to the field are fewer and competitive. Off-campus jobs are a lot, including working at KFC and Burger King as a helper. The timetable is really hectic until the 3rd year. After the third year we can easily manage. The average payout is around 2000-2500 rubles for an 8-hour shift.

Kemerovo State Medical University is good and affordable for pursuing MBBS.
Tips: In this country, it is almost winter all year round, and the temperature can sometimes drop to -50 degrees Celsius. There is a language barrier that makes it difficult to communicate. You do not need any scholarships to attend this university. You only need to have passed the NEET exam and a test administered by the university. To come here, you will need a passport and warm winter clothes. The public transportation system is good, convenient, and affordable. The price for a bus ticket is 34 rubles, which is less than the price of a cab. However, sometimes it is difficult to access a bus, so we have to take a cab. I am satisfied with the university and the course I am taking.

Because of the heavy snowfall in the area, a cab is an impractical and expensive mode of transportation. The university is amazing and there are lot of extracurriculars for students.
Tips: The biggest cultural shift was in language. Most Russians don't speak or understand English, and even some of the teachers don't speak English. If you are one of the top 10 students, you can get a discount on your tuition fees. My university is nice, the teachers are helpful, and most of the Russians are friendly.
Likes (Part time work): On-campus students can work as translators if they have a good knowledge of the Russian language. Off-campus students have various work options, such as working in a factory or shop. The pay is quite good, for example, 2000-2500 per day, and it can vary depending on the location of the job.
Dislikes (Indian Food): As a vegetarian, I found very few vegetarian options available at this university. In fact, most of the vegetarian options were sweet, so I ended up cooking for myself most of the time. Some of the vegetarian options available were cheese bread, shorma, French fries, and milkshakes. Cheese bread costs between 100 and 300 rubles, depending on the place you eat. Shorma cost between 250 and 350 rubles, and French fries cost 250 rubles.

MBBS - Batch of 2028
Offered by Kemerovo State Medical University
2.7
College is new, not ready for 150-200 students every year.
Tips: The university is accredited and students should try to connect with the alumni. Beware of student agents who may try to steer you toward a particular university. Use the university's official website to get more information. Don't be swayed by low tuition fees. Also consider the city where the university is located, as it may not provide the international exposure you seek.
Likes (Safety): There are security cameras everywhere. Smoke detectors are in every room, and the fire alarm system is very efficient. The police are helpful and friendly towards Indian students. I never worried about walking alone at midnight in the city areas. There are very few cases of theft because the punishments are severe.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): After getting your degree the highest salary you can earn in 2-3 years is 1 lakh per month. This is a low salary for doctors compared to other countries. If you want to earn more, you need to look for jobs in Moscow or Saint Petersburg. Another option is to pursue a career in dentistry, which offers higher earning potential.

MBBS - Batch of 2029

3.5
The university is simple and basic.
Tips: There are no cultural shifts to speak of, as everything is the same for Indian students. There are no scholarships available now, but that may change in the future. The university is medium-sized, and according to the budget, it's not very good but medium. Students may find it quite boring in the early days.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If we wanted to stay in Russia after graduation, we would have to take an exam in Russian. Like in India, it is difficult to pass the exam because of the Russian language. So if you want to stay in Russia, you need to focus on your studies.
Dislikes (Student Life): It is difficult to adjust to a new university. Also, students may find it difficult to acquire practical knowledge due to a lack of bodies for review. Students should study on their own.
