Master of Global Management (MGM) - Batch of 2025
4.2
Thunderbird School of Global Management is pretty good in terms of the quality of education.
Tips: Coming to the United States has been a transformative journey, but it has also brought with it significant cultural change that one must adapt to. My experience at Thunderbird School has been pretty enriching, allowing me to meet with people with diverse backgrounds and a lot of expertise in their fields. Scholarships at Thunderbird School of Global Management are based on your undergraduate academic performance and the quality of the interview during the application process. People with 7-8 years of experience can also apply for a full scholarship. Overall, my experience with this university is very good because it gave me a chance to interact with a diverse background of peers.
Likes (Part time work): Numerous part-time jobs are available within the university, and the part-time work schedule is adjustable according to the academic timetable. The payout depends on what is the level of work someone is doing. What I have observed is that the payout starts from 14 Dollars/hr to 18Dollars/hr.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transport is cheap. It includes rails and buses however, it is not well connected to every part of the city, so many students have to sometimes use ridesharing apps like Uber or Lyft which can get super expensive during rush hours and office times.

4.3
Current student exploring opportunities.
Tips: I have learned a lot of new things after coming here. There were a lot of cultural shifts while experiencing international exposure. Their culture of short talk really surprised me, by the time I got adjusted to it. I got scholarships from college. There are a lot of on-campus opportunities for students to work part-time. The first semester is a bit difficult to manage and adjust to the new environment but after that, it is pretty much manageable with classes and schedule. Sometimes you can do your work while working. The average payout is $14/hr.
Dislikes (Safety): There are a lot of safety measures, but downtown is surrounded by homeless as well. So a person has to be careful and aware while traveling from college to classes or elsewhere. However, there are regular police patrolling and help provided by the university.

BA (Hons) Degree in Fashion Business - Batch of 2024
Offered by Istituto Marangoni - UK
4.3
I loved being at Marangoni
Tips: Remember to be proactive, ask questions, make connections and network! One of the most important aspects of the fashion industry is to network. So be open and friendly, it’s not as daunting as it might feel and make as many connections as possible
Likes (Public transportation): London has one of the best public transportation systems in the world. Tube (underground trains) and buses connect each part of the city very well. They also run at very frequent times so not a lot of waiting time for the train and bus which is good.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): After graduation, UK allows students to shift to a graduate visa which gives us a 2-year period to find a sponsored job- which is a lot less stressful compared to other countries. It is very hard and very competitive to find a job in London, in any industry.
