Bachelors in General Medicine - Batch of 2022
4.8
Best affordable medical university in Russia.
Tips: I found it very easy to adjust to life in Russia. The senior students were very helpful, and my consultancy agency also played an important role in making the transition smooth. The university met all my expectations, and Russia is a very safe country with welcoming people and good healthy food.
Likes (Indian Food): I prefer eating outside most of the time, and there is an Indian restaurant named Bharat that is very affordable. In my opinion, self-cooking is a waste of time. International students can also opt for meal plans, which are very affordable.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are no on-campus jobs available, and the off-campus jobs that are available have inflexible hours and are physically tiring. I would not recommend taking a part-time job unless you are financially stable enough to do so. The average pay is between 250 to 300 Rubles per hour.

It is among one of the best place to do your studies.
Tips: It was a great learning experience at Tver State Medical University. While there were some cultural differences, it wasn't much of a problem because there were other Indian students around. I didn't get a scholarship, but I love the country, the university, and the people of Russia. The quality of life and studies at the university are both great.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I'm very happy with the quality of the teaching faculty at Tver State Medical University. Most of the professors are well-known doctors in their field and are very approachable. The teaching is mostly in English, which is helpful for international students like me. The faculty is mostly from the Soviet Union countries, which is interesting.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent settlement in Russia is difficult for foreigners because the law says you must marry a Russian citizen to gain permanent residency. If I were given the chance, I would love to stay in Russia permanently, but only if I could earn a higher salary in my field.

Tver State Medical University is good and helpful for your future upcoming FMG exams.
Tips: Students should know how to do multiple things at once, including cooking and studying. They also need to be prepared to face daily challenges and be self-sufficient. If they study regularly, it will be easier for them to succeed.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Every Russian citizen is so helpful that there is no racism or discrimination. You can learn every aspect of life here. You have to be multitalented in all things, which will prepare you for life's upcoming events. You will learn how to do multiple things at once.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): I joined Tver State Medical University in 2021 and am now in my fourth year. These past four years have been so good that I can't express it in words. The teachers are very supportive, and the faculty helps us in every way possible. The city is also beautiful, and the Russian people are very helpful.

Bachelors in General Medicine - Batch of 2026

The university provides a great learning environment with excellent, knowledgeable faculty.
Tips: There is a lack of on-campus medical facilities for students. I think every college should have at least one ambulance available in case of an emergency. A secure environment helps reduce stress and anxiety, which allows students to feel more connected to the college. The faculty is very good, and the staff is very helpful and hardworking. The college also tries to provide a safe and healthy environment that is conducive to learning. As a visa sponsor, a company handles all visa-related tasks, making it easier for foreign employees to work legally in the country. To be eligible, you must meet certain requirements, which are difficult to do.

Been a mixed batch of experiences.
Tips: Atlanta can be a mixed experience for people but downtown where the campus is located, is filled with opportunities and more. Sometimes it is hard to meet people outside classes and this can be hard to combat but I do appreciate the culture and diversity present on campus. The faculty is helpful and will encourage you to participate in on-campus activities and extracurriculums.

Great learning with amazing academics and faculty.
Tips: I had a slight culture shock when I initially got here owing to which it took me a while to settle down and make friends. This was mainly because of how individualistic everything appeared but once my classes started and I was more occupied with campus events, everything became a lot simpler. The city is friendly although it can also be very rushed at times so keep an open mind and join a campus activity or a part-time job that you'd enjoy. Overall, I am satisfied with the course, university and the country.

It has been an interesting and unique experience.
Tips: I have experienced a lot of changes in myself during my experience studying at this university. It can feel overwhelming at the start as there are a lot of students throughout campus and the classes are competitive as well. There are events that take place but they are not advertised as much so you'll have better luck exploring outside campus or being more involved. Aside from nightlife, the city has a lot to offer. Overall it has been a unique and decent experience.

It has been a dynamic and unique experience.
Tips: I was nervous about my experience at Georgia State University because I had never lived this far from home. However, it only took me a semester to settle in comfortably. There are a lot of exciting events and places to go around campus, which is probably due to its location and accessibility. A good way to connect with fellow students is to join campus groups and organizations and explore nearby attractions.

Tips: Studying here has taught me a lot about myself and helped me develop many essential skills as well. The scope of internships and job placements are limited as I am pursuing sociology which has limited marketable opportunities. The faculty is very dedicated and there is immense scope for research and other such projects as well. Overall, I am satisfied wth the country, course and the university.

Lot of educational opportunities are provided.
Tips: I initially found it challenging to settle in as I had missed orientation and came here right when the classes had begun so by the time I had reached campus, the majority of my batchmates had their own groups. What helped me in my case was participating in campus events and clubs such as the writing club where I could meet people of similar interests. Aside from this, I would say studying here has been a positive experience and I am satisfied with the college.

It is one of a kind educational opportunity.
Tips: Having a college experience here is truly one of a kind. The professors will make you develop an interest in their courses like never before and you will get to experience a more hands-on form of learning as well because of the college internship opportunities and group projects which encourage you to learn outside classrooms. Finally, ensure that your credits are in order in time for graduation as the administration has held back students for this reason.

Grateful for the opportunity.
Tips: I have observed that compared to most American universities, Georgia State has more academically rigorous programs which can make the coursework more challenging as well. But it can also be said that the professors are involved in student success and give personalised attention if you make it a point to interact. There are many job opportunities provided by the university so make sure to find and get the one that matches your field of interest and curriculum.

Georgia State University has a great college environment with highly knowledgeable faculty.
Tips: The best thing about GSU has got to be its location in downtown Atlanta as it is easily the most popular area with numerous opportunities for both part-time and full-time work.
