Master of Science in Agricultural and Resources Economy/Management - Batch of 2025
4.5
More options for part time, value for money.
Tips: I did not avail of scholarships, but scholarships and tuition fee waivers are available. The university course has improved my confidence and given me a basic knowledge of the German language. There is no additional fee for learning German. The professors are friendly and encourage two-way interactions during lectures, which improves clarity on the subjects.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is made enjoyable through a variety of online and on-site activities. Numerous part-time opportunities, including paid volunteering, are available even on campus. The majority of my courses are offered both online and in-person, with the option to attend either way, which makes student life easier.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): German language skills are essential for finding employment and settling in. Numerous job opportunities exist in the IT and research sectors, but fluency in German, Spanish, and English will likely be required. If I get a chance to work here, I would permanently immigrate to this country due to its organised road transport system and high earning potential.

MS in Statistics and Data Science - Batch of 2026
Offered by Ludwig Maximilians University Munich
4.1
The university is great with good faculty and easy and affordable transportation.
Tips: The college is great. It has a good library and open-minded and helpful professors. Since the college is in Munich, a lot of people speak/know English so it is easy for people who don't speak German, although will advise them to learn it as it can be helpful in the future for the long run. There are scholarships for students, you can check the university website for details as I have not availed of any so don't know much about it. Get ready for a cultural shift because it's different here. The shopping experience, public transport, and paperwork for city registration and such. And one most important thing, getting good accommodation is tough, so be prepared to compromise a bit at least in the start.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The Indian food in restaurants is either too expensive and/or not as good. There are Indian shops but not as many, so might have to travel to get the things. Overall, if you want to have Indian food without paying too much, you have to make it yourself and good Indian street food is rare.

Best college in Germany to study biology
Tips: No cultural shift, it is a pretty easy going place with a lot of international students. I availed of DAAD scholarships two times in both the years. I am satisfied with my overall experience, it helped me to get a in the US including Ivy League. I will definitely suggest everyone to check the university.

Learning German is not necessary but will help.
Tips: The main problem you'll face will be finding accommodation in Munich. So if you are planning to come, start looking as soon as possible. The people here are really accommodating, so learning German is not necessary. However, it's always good to know, as it makes getting around the city really convenient.
Likes (Value for money): 0 Fees (except the 80 euros per semester) for a programme with exclusive lectures and amazing professors, workshops and tutorials from prominent people in my field, summer school, hackathons, data fest, and a practical with companies like Brain and Co. , Adidas, BMW, Lufthansa etc. Furthermore, the cohort is only ~20 people taken from a highly selective process. So you get really focused lectures and an amazing group of people to work with throughout your course.

Once in a lifetime experience
Tips: Make sure your CV is good and that you have done a lot of internships. Be prepared for the interview and the entrance exam. Make sure your basics are strong. Also, you should have a strong purpose of why you are applying for this university and what is your goal.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty here at LMU is best. They teach what they are currently researching on. All the syllabus is on the current laboratory status. The faculty is very friendly, easy-going, helpful, encouraging and fun. They know what they are teaching and they really have interest to teach the students and clear their doubts.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's difficult to get part time work even if there is an offer of a good job, there will be a lot of applications. There is always a possibility of you not getting a part time student job. So, the competition is very high to apply for a student job.

Devanshi Parmar
Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in Evolutionary Biology - Batch of 2025
Offered by Ludwig Maximilians University Munich
4.9
Great place to learn and grow.
Tips: Prospective students should be aware of the fast-paced academic environment which demands strong self-discipline. While the labs are excellent, the library resources for certain niche subjects could be improved. The campus life is vibrant with numerous clubs, but off-campus housing can be quite expensive.
Likes (Safety): Security patrols operate around the clock, and emergency systems are well-maintained. Hostels have secure access, and staff receives regular training in first aid and emergency response. The city also promotes safety, with well-lit streets and a visible police presence. Public transport is safe, and exploring the city is comfortable. The overall sense of security on and off campus created a positive learning experience.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The college did a decent job of inviting companies, particularly from the IT sector, but opportunities for core engineering roles were fewer. Alternatively, while many companies recruited, only a handful offered visa sponsorships, making it challenging for international students to secure long-term positions.
