Scope of the Degree:

a 3-4 year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate field at higher education institution (HEI) level
- The appropriate fields include e.g. electrical engineering, energy technology, automation technology, telecommunications engineering, or similar engineering field or other degree in a closely related field and appropriate additional studies. A degree in business studies is not an appropriate degree unless it includes sufficient amount of appropriate studies in a field of technology

- Prior studies at Bachelor level or higher in the core areas of the programme in case the previous degree is not completed in a core area

- Applicant’s performance (i.e. GPA) in previous studies, including the thesis or ‘final report’ (i.e. the final assignment students must complete in circumstances where a thesis is not used)
- The overall grade (GPA) and the grade of the thesis for a Bachelor’s degree from higher education institution (HEI) should be at least ‘good’ 3,0/5,0 (ECTS grading), or equivalent in the systems not using the ECTS
- India Specific: Applicants must have minimum fcademic grading of first 60% in Bachelors degree or 60% in bachelors and 55% in masters in 2 year bachelor degree plus a 2 year masters program

- Applicants who have not yet graduated can apply and be conditionally accepted as long as they graduate by the 11 July 2024. If applicants have not graduated by the time they apply, they are required to submit an officially certified copy of their latest transcript of records. Evidence of the completed degree needs to be presented to the University by the 11 July 2024 at 15:00 (UTC+3)
- Following criteria is for Joint Admission Process:
- Applications that satisfy the above eligibility criteria will be put through a subsequent evaluation process that will determine which applicants are selected for admission to Industrial Systems Analytics. The criteria used in the selection process are listed below. The selection process uses an objective system of points for the evaluation of candidates (in total 40 points). The weight of each of the criteria is following:
- Degree certificate (suitability of the studies in Bachelor’s degree to the Master’s programme in question, scope of the degree, applicant’s academic performance in the previous studies) 0-30 points
- Work experience 0-5 points (based on the submitted application documents)
- Motivation 0-5 points (motivation letter on the online application form)
- The accepted students may be required to complete supplementary studies (maximum 60 ECTS) to supplement the skills and knowledge acquired during their previous studies to the level required in the Master level studies
