Tips: As an Indian student at Neoma Business School in Rouen: Before joining students should understand the academic rigour, career opportunities, and support services for international students offered by Neoma Business School. There was a noticeable transition of cultural shift, especially in terms of language, social norms, and educational methods. I received a scholarship based on academic merit and extracurricular achievements. It helped significantly with tuition costs and living expenses. I am highly satisfied with Neoma Business School for its quality of education, the relevance of my course in shaping my career, and the experience of living in France.
Likes (Internships): I rated safety highly due to robust campus security measure like CCTV and security patrols. Other safety facilities include well-lit street reliable public transport and accessible emergency services in the city of Rouen. My experience has been positive enjoying cultural richness and friendly local, with occasional minor challenges typical of city life.
Dislikes (Part time work): As an Indian student at Neoma Business School in Rouen on-campus part-time jobs are somewhat limited but available in areas like administrative support or event assistance. Off-campus opportunities are more varied including retail hospitality and tutoring. Managing part-time work alongside academics requires good time management but is manageable with support from professors and flexible work hours. Average payouts for part-time work vary. On-campus jobs might pay around 10-12 per hour off-campus roles can range higher depending on the industry and skill requirements.

French universities are pretty fun but for a wholesome experience you should understand French.
Tips: If you do not speak French then it's pretty hard to mix with other students in the university as they all speak French. It's fun but sometimes you feel out of place and there are many student associations but mostly the language is French. I did not avail of any scholarship for this programme however I was offered one based on merit for GBBA at NEOMA. I am quite satisfied with the country and the university however the programme does have a few flaws.
Likes (Public transportation): Reims is a pretty small city and very well connected. The campus is pretty close to the city centre. There are trams and buses. The cost is around 30 per month for students. It's very convenient as there are many buses running on different routes. There is an app where you can get real-time information on bus timings.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's a must to have at least a conversational level of French to get a part-time job. I don't know much about it because I have never really tried to find one. The course load is not that much so I believe it's easy to manage work along with academics.

NEOMA makes you discover yourself.
Tips: The food is really good here. While I was in the English track, surprisingly, many in my batch didn't speak English fluently. I didn't receive any scholarships. I'm very satisfied because I discovered my true passion for what I want to do after NEOMA.
Likes (Public transportation): All buses/metros were mostly on time, unlike Paris. Even during strikes, they notify you on the MyAstuce app a week in advance, so you're prepared. It's also super affordable, especially if you buy the annual pass in September when student discounts are available.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are limited part-time job opportunities on the NEOMA Rouen campus. For example, the library typically has only 3-4 openings, and they are filled quickly. Outside the campus, restaurants and stores are options, but fluency in French is essential as most employees don't speak English. If you have connections, working as an English Language Assistant for the Ministry of Education could be a good fit.
