- Licence: Licence refers to undergraduate studies that last for 6 semesters (3 years) and student have to earn 180 ECTS
- Master: Master degree last for 4 more semesters (2 years), i.e. a masters’ degree gets completed after pursuing 5 years of study and students need to earn 300 ECTS
- Doctorate: Doctorate can be obtained after another 6 semesters (3 years)

Study visa requirements for an undergraduate degree
- If students want to study an undergraduate course in France, then a student has to complete 12 years of schooling apart from any other requirement demanded by the University for pursuing a specific course.
- Language instruction in most of the universities in French. However, now a lot of universities are offering a course in the English language as well. But it is always an advantage for a student to have a command in French. For all international students, it is required to appear in the language test of France.
- A candidate needs to complete 18 years of age for getting admission in a graduate program.
- A candidate needs to secure at least 70% in senior secondary education. Students who secured 60% can go for diploma and foundation courses.
