The college is good for those who are economically in a good status.
Tips: The cultural change definitely took some time to get used to. Food in Georgia is unlike what we eat in Asia. The climate is very unpredictable and we have to deal with a lot of wind. Also, no scholarships were available. If you speak Georgian or Russian, chances are pretty good that you can find a job practising medicine in Georgia. Even if you're proficient in either language, it's important to remember that living expenses are high. It's still possible to make the move to Georgia to work as a doctor, but you'll need to be prepared for a more challenging environment. However, overall, I am satisfied with the university. It has a great campus and faculty.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is very cheap for students. Only 0.2 Tetri for 1.5 hours travel in any public transport for students. And only 1 GEL per ride for regular passengers in any public transport. Metro, minibus and regular bus are common modes of transport. Metro takes you to almost every place in the capital, Tbilisi.

The university campus is small but is very culturally oriented and diverse.
Tips: Most international students don't know about scholarships and funding, so it's important to find out what's available. Also, students should be proficient in English, as it is the language of instruction at the university. Living off campus, I've had to do all my own chores, which has made me more self-sufficient. Public transportation is very affordable and convenient so feel free to explore the country. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my university and the country.

CIU review by Kavach Joshi
Tips: My transition was pretty smooth; it took some time to adapt to the accent used by the professor and the local Georgian language. But still that was not very difficult. I had acquired a 25% scholarship in my second year of MBBS, which was based on my performance in the 1st year.
Likes (Safety): Apart from campus security, law and order in the country are very strong. There is a very. Helpful India, an embassy that helps the students. The government work there is also very smooth and hassle-free. The neighborhood is generally friendly; I haven't faced any dangerous situations to date.
Dislikes (Part time work): As per Georgian law, students enrolled in these universities are not allowed to work, as these students are there with student visas, not work visas. There are no opportunities for part-time work. However, we can take on research work on the side, which is helpful in building a strong CV.
