Good Experience, Worth it
Tips: There is for sure a cultural shift. You'll get used to it in a month. Be polite to people (keep saying sorry and thanks). Try to meet people from different countries; you'll learn a lot. I got a scholarship from the university worth 5k pounds. Most students do get scholarships. It's a good course and a really good university. Check the visa policy, though, before you decide to study in the UK.
Likes (Public transportation): Frequent buses from campus to the city. Buses to nearby cities too are frequent. Buses are available throughout the day, until late evening. Getting to the city and back is not an issue. It's affordable too (2 pounds). Get a bus pass if you travel frequently.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): With the recent policy changes, staying back long-term is a lot harder now since they chopped the post-study visa down from 24 months to just 18. Honestly, if you're completely fine with heading back home after your degree, it's still a massive win. You'll get to experience a completely different lifestyle and network with people from all over the place while you're there.
