A Great International Learning Experience in Germany.
Tips: Before joining Hochschule Mannheim, students should be prepared for a more independent and self-directed learning environment as well as adapt to the German culture and academic expectations. I availed the Erasmus+ scholarship via the university since I came here as an exchange student. Overall, I am very satisfied with the university, course, and city.
Likes (Safety): Mainz is a very safe and student-friendly city. I have always felt comfortable traveling around, even alone. The public transport in the city is really good, even at night and on weekends. The people around are generally helpful in case someone needs assistance.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are not so many part-time jobs on campus. However, it is possible to find working student positions off-campus in restaurants, fast-food joints, etc. With a basic knowledge of the German language. It is quite possible to do a part-time job along with academics. The pay is usually the minimum wage.
Total Monthly ExpenseEuro 800

Expected Annual SalaryEuro 60000
