Worth coming here.
Tips: Honestly, Nordhausen has been an absolute gem of a choice. Coming from a massive city, I was worried about it being a small town, but the Indian community on campus is tight-knit and made settling in a breeze. The vibe here is incredibly safe and welcoming—zero racism or weird energy, which is a massive relief.
The Hochschule classes are totally spot-on for landing a job later, and the town itself is super peaceful. Everything you need is within walking distance, and the rent and groceries are dirt cheap compared to the big German cities. You get a great lifestyle and a solid education without completely wrecking your wallet.
