MSc in Advanced Industrial Engineering - Batch of 2027
4.3
Practical learning, International exposure, industry oriented and valuable growth experience.
Tips: If you're heading to TH Rosenheim, just know it’s super hands-on and practical. You’re going to be swimming in group projects, endless assignments, and self-study, so your time management needs to be on point. Also, do not skip out on learning German—you seriously need at least B1 or higher if you want any chance of landing a working student gig, an internship, or a proper job afterward. Moving here was honestly a bit of a shock to the system at first. Getting used to the German education style, the lifestyle, and how obsessed everyone is with punctuality took some time, but it definitely made me more disciplined and built up my confidence. I didn't actually get a scholarship myself—I just financed everything by working part-time student gigs and internships. There are scholarships around, but honestly, they mostly demand top grades and solid German. Overall though, I'm really glad I came here. The tuition is super cheap, the course actually gives you real-world knowledge, and the career prospects are great—as long as you actually put in the work to learn the language.
Likes (Safety): Most days I'm basically dragging myself out of bed in my WG and rushing to make it to that 8:15 AM lecture on time. If I have a gap between classes or a light schedule, me and my friends just head to the city center or sit around on the campus grass. Or we'll just grab coffee at the cafeterias—we have two on campus and they're pretty cozy. There's honestly so much stuff to do outside of studying. I joined the student union, went on some of the hiking trips, and went to the campus festivals and the job fair. Same goes for clubs. There's basically a club for everything like sports, dancing, gaming, or just doing language tandems with international students.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I guess I am quite positive that I would get a permanent settlement in the country. I believe things take time, and it will turn towards your fate some day. Just keep working hard and continuously to achieve success in your field of choice. It is not easy but also not impossible. Yes, I SEE myself in the long term immigrating to this country.

Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering and Plastics Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.4
Happy and calm life at TH Rosenheim.
Tips: There should be clarity on topics covered in previous courses, as professors expect a basic understanding and build upon that knowledge. While I'm unaware of any scholarships, some might be available. I am satisfied with the university's infrastructure and staff, making it a good choice for studying at TH Rosenheim.
Likes (Student Life): It's stress-free and easygoing once you've settled your expenses and can manage basic German for daily tasks like grocery shopping and talking to people. The people are very helpful and friendly, and they generally have a positive impression of students.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's somewhat challenging to find jobs due to Rosenheim's small size, and proficiency in German is necessary to compete in the job market, given the high number of students applying for positions. Balancing studies and work is difficult, as studies require significant time. The average pay is typically around 13-14 euros per hour.
