Small town college in extreme north west of Germany, having people from around the world.
Tips: Well most important thing soon after you reach is to get an Anmeldung and block account activation. These can be done in a week. If planning for any bank account, you need to apply as early as possible because the waiting period can be about 2-3 weeks. There are a lot of Indias and people of different nationalities living together here.
Many from African and Middle Eastern countries.
Well, the course actually is a self paced program, so there is a lot of self study one can expect. The faculty do have a lot of work experience in their fields and they can help students get tie-ups for their thesis also.
Likes (Public transportation): The transportation is just so convenient and has a good network.
The frequency of buses and trains is very good.
Having a semester ticket doesn't cost one anything for travel.
The city has a good city bus network.
But to move out of it, there are trains and buses suggested to keep an ID alongside while travelling longer distances.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are a few Arabic and Asian restaurants, but due to the small size of the town, not many options available. Although there are well-known chains such as McD and Domino's. There's an Asian market, but with very limited indian options. But the nearest city to find an Indian restaurant will be Bremen.
