Life at Brandt School, Erfurt.
Tips: I did not receive any scholarship. But I was able to find my own way throughout by working part-time jobs and other jobs. Keeping an open mind is something I would definitely recommend to everyone moving to non-English-speaking countries. A lot of things get lost in translation, and many a time, people do not usually mean what they say or are unable to say what they mean. Only a handful of people are fluent in English, especially in smaller towns like Erfurt. My experience has been great, and I recommend WBS to people.
Likes (Student Life): I really enjoyed how international the course was. There were people from 26 different countries, and the experience of exploring all the birthday traditions, festivals, party culture, and everything was very interesting. The knowledge you get about a country from the people of that country itself is unparalleled. I would definitely recommend doing an international Master's.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): With the current market and the fact that Right-wing government and ideologies are on the rise, the immigrant job market has taken a hit. Erfurt is in East Germany, which has historically been excluded from the mainstream politics of Germany. Hence, the assimilation of immigrants has become a tougher task than it was before.
