MSc Data Science (UE Innovation Hub, Dubai) - Batch of 2026
3.6
Enjoyable with some up and downs.
Tips: Learn German until C1 is mandatory for basic jobs. Winter is fully dark for almost 4 months so be prepared for that. Try to live the German life instead of enforcing what you were doing back home. Go out more to have more knowledge about things. Back home you might have competition just within states but here it's with everyone in the world.
Dislikes (Part time work): Finidng part time is really hard especially with English language as a main and you have to learn German which is a tough language to learn. Making friends is hard; people are not talking to you randomly and attending events gets less because of this issue.

MSc Data Science (UE Innovation Hub, Dubai) - Batch of 2025
3.1
Research thoroughly first before joining.
Tips: Do the proper research. Don't fall for any influencer's video. Learn German at least A2 before landing in Germany. Try to target the public universities. Plan your finances carefully. Don't expect that finishing study will lead you to land a job in Germany.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is commonplace and well-connected which makes life easier. The university also provides a semester ticket, in which students get a discount on a Deutschland ticket, which is valid to travel around Germany on regional trains, bus, and U-Bahn not the ICES.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There is no job search support provided after the course ends. International students are struggling to get a full-time job as per their profile. After course completion, there is no help provided by the university to help the students to get either an internship or full time job. Don't expect any campus interviews.

The university is pretty average.
Tips: Not good but if you are looking out for opportunities you can try. You have to really work hard in order to get the job but make sure you are doing the right thing. Always ask for help or guidance before doing anything. Because no one can guarantee a safe future. There are part time job but it's hard to get and also off campus is possible with a little extra dedication to find. You can manage the block account if you can land one part-time job its about 15 euros per hour. You can manage study and work all together.
Likes (Indian Food): That's the worst part, nothing tastes good here so take cooking classes. Because in the end you have to cook yourself as there are very limited options its good if you can also cook. Indian food always tastes better in any form. So give it a try.

BSc Digital Business & Data Science (Hamburg, UE Innovation Hub, Dubai) - Batch of 2026

Education is amazing and helpful faculty.
Tips: The actual university work was pretty much very good and not too difficult but not too easy either. The professors are amazing and the people present at uni are also really nice. And besides that my experience with my classmates and professors was very good. Safe to say I don’t regret or second guess why I chose the university and course. I didn’t avail any scholarships per se. The only thing that felt slightly difficult was finding my internship. And also the fact that chances are the internship won’t be paid. But otherwise a good experience. The only thing I wished for was that we had an on campus accommodation which also should’ve been cheaper as finding accommodation in Berlin specifically is like a battle with scams and also a huge money struggle.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If I had the opportunity which I do hope to have, I would love to settle here as after learning the language and getting to become a part of the culture, it becomes much easier. Not saying no one faces any issues. But having friends and almost a new family here, it becomes easier to deal with the difficulties as well. And I’d say especially in Southern Germany, these opportunities are much better. Berlin is a bit more different from my experience to date.
Dislikes (Part time work): So on campus part time jobs are very difficult to find and off campus is even more difficult not just because of an early language barrier but also because of a shortage of work opportunities in part time. Also average students can earn up to 600 euros if they find a good part time job. Though most of the jobs will not be in the field and temporary labour work, that's the only way to earn decently in the beginning. Especially when students are still establishing themselves in a new country and trying to settled in. And I'd still suggest please learn the language regardless of the needs in your course.

Very less chance of getting an internship.
Tips: Be ready to face new challenges in a new country. Learn at least B2 level of the German language in India itself. So that when there is a job fair in University, you have an upper hand in selection. If you pay the fees in one go, the University offers a huge discount up to 40%. I am satisfied with the University because they are genuine and provide a German as well as an English Degree.
Likes (Safety): You will be safe at the University. There is no racism, no body shaming, and also transportation is available at short intervals. The University do offer consultation for the students if they don't feel good or if they have any problems in a new country, they offer this all free of cost.
Dislikes (Internships): Very less chance of getting an internship as this is a private university and also they don't offer any mandatory internship. While some other private Universities offer a mandatory internship Certificate, it's easy to give it ahead to companies which are offering internships for students.

Coming to Germany with B1 makes a huge difference.
Tips: Learn the language. Coming to Germany with B1 makes a huge difference. I am the live example. I learned German after coming to Germany, due to which I lost many opportunities, while my wife learned it till B2 in India and she got an internship within one month. Plus, Germans are rule abiding people, so if we abide by their rules, it's quite easy to blend. I didn't avail any scholarship but UE helped me land my first job. They helped me with the application and CV. They guide me in every step, plus the lectures were related to the recent world which helped me crack the interview. UE also helps with visa related work.
Likes (Public transportation): My campus was in the city centre so it was well connected by bus, metro and train. Shopping malls were 15 minutes walk and some major attractions were 10 minutes away. Public transport is cheap, my college provided a semester ticket so for me it was worth it. And especially Berlin is well connected.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Due to the current job market, I would give 4 Star. The major taking point is the strength of German PR. If the job market were like pre covid condition, then I would definitely give 5 stars. For me, the chances are 50-50, given that I keep paying taxes for 1 more year.
