The University of Europe for Applied Science UE was formed in 2017, after a merger between the Business and Information Technology School and the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule. UE Germany was previously owned by an American company and was acquired by Global University Systems in 2018. Then, in 2020, the university changed its name to The University of Europe for Applied Sciences.
