- Digital Process Engineering (DPE) is a four-semester Master's degree program aimed at Bachelor's graduates with a solid background in Chemical and Process Engineering or Environmental Process Engineering and a strong interest in the digital implementation of process engineering problems.
- The degree program consists of bridge modules (compulsory elective area 1), compulsory modules, focus areas (compulsory elective area 2), elective modules and the Master's thesis.
- Graduates have a broad knowledge of the mathematical, scientific and engineering principles of process engineering and related fields, such as energy and environmental engineering.
- Graduates acquire a critical awareness of the latest findings in the field of process engineering, with a focus on knowledge in the areas of data science and physico-chemical modeling and simulation.
- Graduates are able to apply methods of data science (from data acquisition, data handling and analysis to machine learning) to process engineering processes and mathematically model process engineering processes using physico-chemical approaches and carry out corresponding computer simulations.
