- Embedded Intelligence Nanosystems Engineering (EMINENT)“ is an English language joint degree program offered by University of Siegen Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU, Greece), NOVA Lisbon (Portugal), University of Orléans (France) und Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania). It structure follow a vertical value chain: from functional nano-materials over sensors to operative systems that interconnect physical and virtual objects („Internet of Things“).
- The first semester takes place at HMU, where the students are introduced to the filed of nanotechnology. The second semester will be spent by all students at the University of Siegen (focus on sensorics and data analysis)
- The specialisation phase starts with the third semester, choosing one of the 5 specialisation tracks:
1) Uni Siegen: Embedded intelligent sensorics
2) HMU: Functional materials with optoelectronic properties
3) NOVA: Natural materials and biosensors
4) Vilnius Tech: Advanced sensor systems and data processing
