- During the first three years of the course there are a broad range of modules in topics such as environmental engineering (water resources, waste management and coastal protection), structural engineering (analysis, design & computer detailing) and infrastructural development (transport and roads)
- The aim is to provide a good technical knowledge with fundamental engineering principles. Practical skills are developed in land surveying, drawing and the use of software
- The emphasis in year 4 is to ensure that graduates are able to work effectively as a professional engineer and are ready to enter the workplace.
