    Q:   What documents do I need to submit when applying to Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology?
    A: 

    International applicants applying to Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology must submit verified/certified academic transcripts. A certified document is a photocopy of the original document, signed as being a true and accurate copy. To be considered a verified copy it must have:

    • The words ‘original sighted’
    • The name and signature of the person sighting the original document
    • The date the original was sighted
    • The institution/organisation stamp or handwritten institution/organisation name

     The original documents can be submitted for verification by any one of the following:

    • Notary Public
    • An authorised education agent
    • The New Zealand Consulate or Embassy

     

    Apart from transcripts, applicants need to submit the following documents for courses level 1 to 6:

    • High school certificates or diplomas
    • Results from last year at high school
    • Academic record from university or previous tertiary provider
    • Photocopy of the front page of passport with photo ID and details
    • Evidence of English language proficiency
    • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
    • Detailed CV/resume
    • Some creative courses may require a portfolio of relevant work
    • Financial documents

    Additional documents required for Level 7 and 8 courses are:

    • A 400-word SOP
    • Current curriculum vitae
    • Evidence of three years’ work experience

    Additional documents required for Level 9 courses are:

    • A 400-word SOP
    • Current curriculum vitae
    • Evidence of three years’ work experience
    • Evidence of at least one year of work experience in a managerial position

    At least two professional letters of recommendation (LORs)
