The last date for dMAT Registration 2026 is September 15, 2026. Indian students who are required to take the Digital Master Test (dMAT) for the APS documentation process should complete their registration and payment before the deadline.

Registration for dMAT exam in India started on June 29, 2026, while the exam is scheduled for September 26, 2026. Candidates willing to study a Master's in Germany can apply for dMAT exam registration on the dMAT official website, d-mat.de/en/dmat-in-india. The dMAT 2026 registration can be done on or before the last date, September 15, 2026. There is no official notification regarding the extension of dMAT registration. 

The centre-wise dMAT registration process is on a slot basis. So, candidates are advised to book the dMAT test centres as early as possible to avoid getting last-minute inconvenience.

How to Apply for dMAT Before September 15, 2026?

Candidates can complete the dMAT registration 2026 process online through the official g.a.s.t. registration portal. 

The dMAT exam registration process for Indian students includes visiting the official portal, selecting the test location and General Academic Module, choosing a test centre and exam slot, creating an account, entering personal and ID details, uploading a photograph, reviewing the application form, and paying the exam fee. After successful payment, candidates should save the registration confirmation for future reference. Students should follow these steps to avoid missing the deadline:

  1. Visit the official dMAT registration portal and select the option to register for the exam.
  2. Select the test location as “Worldwide” if you are appearing from India.
  3. Choose the General Academic Module and select your nationality.
  4. Select a dMAT test centre from the available centres in India and check the available exam appointments.
  5. Choose an available exam slot for the September 26, 2026 examination.
  6. Create your account by entering your name, date of birth, email address, and other required details.
  7. Enter your personal and identity document details carefully. The details should match the document you will present on exam day.
  8. Upload the required photograph and complete the registration details.
  9. Review the application and pay the dMAT exam fee through the available online payment options.
  10. Save the registration confirmation after successful payment for future reference.

The official dMAT terms state that registration is linked to payment of the exam fee and that changes to registration details are allowed only until the registration deadline. After the deadline, changes cannot be made through the participant portal.
