QS Global MBA Rankings 2027 Released: Which Business Schools Occupied the Top Spots?
The newly released QS Global MBA Rankings 2027 are based on return on investment, employment outcomes and thought leadership. Among the top 10 this year, US universities took the top 4 spots; the remaining spots were taken by European names.
The QS Global MBA Rankings 2027 were released on Sep 16, 2026, four months after QS World Rankings 2027. The rankings covered over 420 full-time MBA programmes across 65 countries and territories. It’s interesting to see that the USA continues to take the top 4 spots in these rankings, as it did in 2025 and 2026.

Top Movers - The QS Global MBA ranking of MIT Sloan (USA), Oxford’s Saïd Business School (UK), INSEAD (France) and Booth School of Business (USA) has improved over past three years. Of these, Oxford Saïd jumped from #19th position in 2025 to #7th position in 2027.

Moving Down the Ladder - The Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) have gradually moved down the list (leaving their top 2 spots from 2025 onwards).
