Study Abroad: Applications Open For 2026 Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship Program

Study in US: The 2026 Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship Program are fully funded scholarship for pursuing one-year or longer Master's degrees in the US.
The US has invited applications from international students for the 2026 Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship Program. The selected students will get fully-funded scholarships for Master's degrees in the US for a one-year or longer period.
Interested students must apply online at https://apply.iie.org/ffsp2026 by April 30, 2025. The scholarship will cover the tuition fee, comprehensive health and accident insurance, monthly living stipend, and round-trip airfare from the home country to the US.
Eligibility Criteria For the 2026 Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship Program
The following are the eligibility criteria for the scholarship:
- The applicant should be a citizen of an eligible country and they should not have dual citizenship.
- They must have a minimum of one undergraduate degree.
- After completing their undergraduate degrees they must have worked for at least two years.
- Ensure that their undergraduate degree is relevant to the proposed Master's program.
- The eligible fields include Art, Biological Sciences, Health and Medical Sciences, Public Administration, Law, Education, Humanities, Business, Social Sciences, Engineering, Physical Science and others.
Documents Needed For 2026 Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship Program
The following documents are required for applying to the 2026 Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship:
- Application
- Three letters of documentation
- Two essays
- Transcript and degree
- Curriculum vitae
- English proficiency test score reports (TOEFL, GRE, or GMAT).
" Please upload scans of all available transcripts and diplomas from post-secondary institutions you have attended. Copies of transcripts/diplomas are required for application to U.S. host institutions. Please consult the countryspecific guidance provided in the application for any specific instructions" reads the official statement.
About the university preferences, the official statement says, "List up to four (4) institutions at which you would like to study or be hosted by in the U.S. in priority order. Include specific departments and/or programs and provide specific reasons for your choice. PhD (Doctorate) and VSR applicants are required to provide names of Professors with whom they would like to work at each institution. Provide preference order if applicable."
