University of East Anglia announces up to INR 12 lakh Scholarship for Indian Postgraduate Students
The University of East Anglia is offering the Vice Chancellor’s Global Impact and Leadership Scholarship for Indian students who want to opt for a Postgraduate Taught course. This is for the students who want to start PG studies in September 2026. It is an application-based scholarship.
To get the scholarship, Indian students should demonstrate strong academic excellence and a clear vision for global leadership and contribution to their chosen study fields. The scholarship will lead to a £10,000 tuition fee discount for eligible PG courses at UEA. For those students who are enrolled in two-year UEA programmes, this scholarship shall be offered for the first year only.
How to Apply?
The applications for the UEA Vice Chancellor’s Global Impact and Leadership Scholarship have to be submitted in written format. Students have to answer these three questions:
- Why did you select UEA course and apply for it?

How UEA Postgraduate course will help you to achieve your career and leadership goals?
- How shall the knowledge and skills you obtain by studying the PG course of UEA help you in making a global leader?
Eligibility
At the time of applying for this scholarship, students must have a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible PG taught course starting in September 2026. They should have achieved or be expecting to achieve at least a 2:1 or equivalent in your UG degree. Also, the offer letter should depict that you are an Overseas fee-paying student.
This scholarship is open for students from Asia, South America, Africa, North America, Middle East, Australia, the EU, and Europe.
Which courses are not eligible for scholarship?
The following courses are not eligible for UEA Vice Chancellor’s Global Impact and Leadership Scholarship:
- Integrated Master’s
- MSc Physiotherapy
- MSc Global Plant Health
- MSc Occupational Therapy
- MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement
- MA The Arts of Africa Oceania and The Americas
- Online or Distance Learning courses
