University Of Houston, DTU Enter MoU To Boost Academic Cooperation

Study Abroad: Under the collaboration of the University of Houston and Delhi Technological University (DTU), the students will be placed in paid internships where they will develop practical skills.
The University of Houston (UH) and Delhi Technological University (DTU) have joined forces to strengthen academic cooperation. The universities have inked a Memorandum of Understanding for five years with an option to renew it further in 2030.
The partnership is to improve educational and research activities, including exchanging visiting scholars to share scholarly information through research papers and conducting research. They will also share scholarly information through books, magazines, and indices in the thesis. Moreover, the students will have the opportunity to be placed in co-ops and paid internships through placements by the host university.
The collaboration was inked by the University of Houston Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Diane Z. Chase, DTU Vice Chancellor Prateek Sharma, UH Cullen College of Engineering dean Pradeep Sharma, and DTU Dean of International Affairs Pravir Kumar.
DTU's Official message on the X platform reads, "DTU & the University of Houston have signed a General Agreement for Cooperation to foster educational and research collaboration."
“This MOU will allow us to increase the number of our Master’s programme students. Many of these students may also stay longer to do their PhD," said Pradeep Sharma.
UH Medical Students Celebrate Match Day
The fourth-year medical students of the UK's Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine celebrated Match Day.
While commenting on this, Dr. Jonathan McCullers, dean of the Fertitta College of Medicine, said, “Match Day is a defining moment for our students and a proud milestone for the College. It represents the culmination of years of dedication and resilience, and as these future physicians take their next steps, they carry with them our mission – to improve health care and health outcomes in communities. Their success is our success, and we celebrate their achievement with immense pride.”
