University of Kent offers Kent Future Student Scholarship for Indian students

Study in UK: The University of Kent is offering the Kent Future Student Scholarship for Indian students. The scholarship is available to Indian students starting an undergraduate course at one of the University of Kent campuses in 2024. The last date to qualify for an automatic discount of £5,000 is 30 June 2024 and the deadline for an automatic discount of £3,000 is 31 July 2024.
Students who receive an offer from the university and pay the tuition fee before 30 June 2024, will get an automatic discount of £5,000 on the tuition fee for one year of study and those who pay the tuition fee deposit on or before 31 July 2024, will get an automatic discount of £3,000 from tuition fee, for one year of study.
"This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in September 2024 only, however advanced entry students starting their degree at Stage 2 or 3 are also eligible, as this will still be their first year of study at Kent,” reads the university statement.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria:
- It is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate-taught applicants of full-time UK programmes from OR domiciled in India, for September 2024 entry.
- The Kent Future Student Scholarship can be awarded in addition to other awards and scholarships, with the exception of the GREAT Scholarship and the India Women in Leadership Scholarship
Who are not eligible for Kent Future Student Scholarship
- Those who have applied for an undergraduate course which includes a foundation year are not eligible.
- Applicants of distance learning programmes are not eligible.
- Those who have applied for the Finance (Dual Award) MSc are not eligible.
- Applicants who have applied for a Master which includes an integrated pre-master are not eligible to receive the scholarship.
- Those who have applied for KMMS programmes are not eligible.
“There is no application process. All eligible applicants who have paid their deposit by the stated deadlines will be contacted with a scholarship offer in due course, which they will need to accept,” added the university's statement.
