University of Strathclyde Offers Faculty of Engineering International Scholarships

Study in UK: The University of Strathclyde's Faculty of Engineering International Scholarships are for undergraduate programs. The last date to apply for the scholarship is September 12, 2025.

Study Abroad: The University of Strathclyde has invited applications for the Faculty of Engineering International Scholarships from all eligible undergraduate international (non-EU) fee-paying students who are self-funded. It applies to the courses which commence in September 2025.

There are several Faculty of Engineering International Scholarships which offer 10% of tuition fees annually, which is approximately £2,935 for the first year. The application opened on January 21, 2025. The last date to apply for the Faculty of Engineering International Scholarships is September 12, 2025.

"If you're applying for an undergraduate degree course, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 10% reduction of your fees for each year of study. Your first year’s scholarship will typically be £2,935," reads the statement of the University of Strathclyde.

One need not apply for this scholarship separately, the scholarship will be awarded automatically to the eligible candidates.

"Please note that the scholarship details will be added to your student record once payment of the deposit has been received, and the funds will be automatically deducted from your overall tuition fees," added the university statement.

The scholarship is available for the following subjects:

• Chemical engineering
• Architecture
• Aeronautical engineering
• Sports engineering
• Renewable energy
• Prosthetics & orthotics
• Product design
• Ocean engineering
• Naval architecture ocean & marine engineering
• Naval architecture
• Mechanical engineering
• Mechanical & aerospace engineering
• Marine Engineering
• Environmental engineering
• Electronic & electrical engineering
• Engineering
• Design, manufacture & engineering management
• Civil engineering
• Civil & environmental engineering

The scholarship amount is different for various courses with different fees, including programs within Architecture & Biomedical Engineering. The scholarship decisions will be made based on the candidates' applications.

Faculty of Engineering International Scholarships: More Details

The candidates who are getting a full scholarship from the embassy or government office are not eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible one must have an offer to study a full-time undergraduate course in the academic year 2025/26.

"Students who do not meet any of the required criteria in this announcement will automatically not be considered," says the university statement.
