Part-Time MBA Rankings for Top US B-Schools

The Bloomberg Businessweek has recently declared a list of top B-schools for Part-Time MBA in the US. This ranking is based on student satisfaction, academic quality, and post-graduation outcomes.
Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business takes the top spot in this listing. The B-school’s part-time MBA offers the same curriculum as its full-time MBA, but the former takes three years to complete instead of two. Pittsburgh-based Tepper School has landed the top spot for the first time in the overall ranking, moving up steadily from the seventh position (in 2007) to the third place in 2011.
University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business comes second, followed by Southwestern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business in the third spot.
The 2011 top ranked Love Business School is down to rank 5, while the biggest gainer is Crummer Graduate School of Business making it to the Top 10 list from rank 44in 2011.
The ranking methodology elements cover Student Survey Rank, Academic Quality, Post-MBA Outcomes, Teaching Quality, Calibre of Classmates and Curriculum.
Both Tepper and Haas School ranked A+ on Teaching Quality, Calibre of Classmates and Curriculum. Cox scored an A on the caliber of classmates and A+ for the other two, it ranked No. 1 for Post-MBA Outcomes, which evaluates how responsible the school has been in helping its MBA students achieve their career goals.
