Q. Please share your profile.

Pravalika: I worked for an MNC for 4.5 years and then I decided to pursue my master in abroad. I applied to different universities like TAMUUHCL, and California Lutheran University based on my academic background and scores. I finally got through California Lutheran University to pursue Masters in Information Technology.

Q. How was your experience with the Shiksha counselling team? How did you find us?

P: My experience was good and was everything that I needed. I saw an advertisement for Shiksha study abroad counselling on the internet and then I researched about it before signing up. Plus, I read a lot of reviews that were good and finally signed up on the Shiksha website for study abroad counselling. Would like to rate the whole experience at 10/10.

Q. Did you try other agents? If yes, how did you make a choice for choosing us?

P: Yes, I did try one consultancy but nothing went forward with them. It was only through Shiksha study abroad counselling that I took a step ahead and landed up in the USA for my master's. So, it was through Shiksha that things moved forward and I can say that it was the best experience.

Q. What was the most challenging part of applying to universities in abroad?

P: The most challenging part for me was shortlisting the universities and also the time-consuming visa application process. Shortlisting universities was sorted with the help of my counsellor Kalyani who has been very helpful. While the entire process of visa be it by logging in on the correct website, creating a profile, booking the slots, paying the SEVIS fee, DS-160 fee, etc. was very tough. But Shiksha’s step-by-step pdf of the visa guide assisted me to navigate through every single window that needed to be filled and this in turn, helped me overcome these challenges and made it easier for me to apply.
