Scholarship Overview

BITS PILANI Tuition Fee Scholarship is offered by the BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus . BITS PILANI Tuition Fee Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is 40% of the first year tuition fee. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship.

• Candidates who have obtained 70% to 79.9% in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination will be offered a tuition waiver of 10% for the first-year tuition fees Plus a 25% concession in the Hostel fee for the normal duration of the program (four years)
• Candidates who have obtained 80% to 89.9% in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination will be offered a tuition waiver of 15% for the first-year tuition fees Plus a 25% concession in the Hostel fee for the normal duration of the program (four years)
• Candidates who have obtained 90% to 94.9% in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination will be offered a tuition waiver of 25% for the first-year tuition fees Plus a 25% concession in the Hostel fee for the normal duration of the program (four years)
• Candidates who have obtained 95% & above in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination will be offered a tuition waiver of 40% for the first-year tuition fees Plus a 25% concession in the Hostel fee for the normal duration of the program (four years)

Eligibility

• Admitted candidates qualifying in one of the below category will be eligible for merit scholarship on tuition fees for first academic year while hostel concession will be offered for normal duration of the programme (4 years)
• Aggregate is the total marks of all subjects in the Qualifying Examination, considered essential by the Board/University for passing the examination. The Aggregate must compulsorily contain the required subjects, namely, English, Physics, Mathematics/Biology, Chemistry/ Vocational subject. The scholarship will be based only on this overall aggregate
