Black, Arab and Mature Students Bursary is offered by the University of Essex to international students. Black, Arab and Mature Students Bursary is available for students from all countries who want to study Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in the UK at the University of Essex. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is GBP 500 at University of Essex. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

  • Students must be entirely self-funding all of their tuition fee
  • Mature students who also meet the ethnicity requirements will only receive one award
  • If students have been offered this bursary, but request to defer their entry, their award offer will be reconsidered in line with the terms and conditions that apply in the new year of entry
  • The bursary will only be awarded based on the eligibility criteria and on the courses specified above

      • Credit accumulation study
      • Professional development modules
      • Degree Apprenticeship programmes
