Scholarship Overview

Cambridge Trust Scholarship is awarded for pursuing Master of Business Administration at University of Cambridge. A student can get a maximum amount of GBP and the scholarship amount will be given one time only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like IELTS, GRE and GMAT. As a part of selection process, applicants must have relevant work experience and also needs to appear for an interview. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: LOR and Essays.

Eligibility

• Bachelor: Applicants must have at least a 2:1 Honours degree on the UK grading scale or an equivalent standard from an overseas institution
• IELTS: 7.5 with min score of 7.0 in each section
• GMAT/ GRE: test score is required
• Work Experience: Applicant must have a minimum of three years' work experience by the start of the intake
• Interview: Short-listed candidates are invited to an interview day at Cambridge Judge Business School. Due to the impact of COVID-19 and in order to adhere to social distancing, all of our interviews will now be conducted virtually

• LOR: One reference from a supervisor is required
• Essay: It is required for admission purposes. The following are the main essay questions on the Cambridge MBA application: 
  • Please provide a personal statement. It should not exceed 500 words and must address the following questions:
    • What are your short and long-term career objectives and what skills/characteristics do you already have that will help you achieve them?
    • What actions will you take before and during the MBA to contribute to your career outcome?
    • If you are unsure of your post-MBA career path, how will the MBA equip you for the future?
  • Describe a difficult decision that you had to make. What did you learn from this and how have you changed as a result? (up to 200 words) 
  • Describe a time where you worked with a team on a project. What did you learn from the experience and how might you approach it differently today? (up to 200 words)
  • If you could give one piece of advice to your 18-year-old self, what would it be? (up to 200 words)
