    • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected refugee status or an international student; 
    • be registered in the JD program in the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section of the University of Ottawa; and 
    • have received the highest mark in either the course CML2312 - Administrative Law or the course CML2712 - Droit administratif.

  • The prize is awarded automatically. In case of a tie among several candidates, the average obtained in the compulsory courses for the program of study (rounded to two decimal places) is used to determine the recipient. If there is still a tie, the recipient will be selected by the Common Law Section, based on the student's academic record
