Scholarship Overview

The Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships – Long Term are awarded by CWIT & British Council – India to mid-career artists and heritage professionals for pursuing a full-time MA program, of a maximum 1-year duration, in any university in the UK in Arts or Heritage Conservation. Through this opportunity, scholarship holders can gain skills and knowledge that could help them in their careers. As the competition is stiff, very few applicants obtain these scholarships every year.

The Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships amount helps cover the student’s living costs and program fees in the United Kingdom and also contributes GBP 600 for your international travel. All the other expenses are to be met by the students themselves. Please note that two-year programs will not be taken into consideration by CWIT. According to the Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships eligibility criteria, the applicant should be an Indian citizen, living in India, aged between 28 – 38 years. He or she should also possess a first degree, diploma or professional qualification in their specialization and should not have been a recipient of a CWIT grant within the last 5 years. Those holding good work experience will be given preference.

The Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships selection process is based on scrutinizing the applications, followed by an interview. Those interested in applying for Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships can send their application along with a statement of purpose, IELTS certificate, proof of unconditional acceptance on the course, and portfolio.
