• University of ottawa offers Ed Honeywell Scholarship for Classical Guitar
• This fund was established through the generosity of the Minto Group Foundation, in recognition of Ed Honeywell, a real estate lawyer who worked with Minto for 37 years. A passionate musician, Ed taught classical guitar at the University of Ottawa's School of Music and was a member of the executive of the Ottawa Guitar Society from 1970 to 1998
• To provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate guitar students in the School of Music
