Eligibility

  • To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Be commencing or is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering in Session 1 2025.
    • Intend to study Full-Time and internally (i.e. on campus).
    • Demonstrated record of high academic achievement.
    • Can demonstrate the potential to make a positive impact in support of the United Nations Sustainable Develop goals.
  • Short-listed applicants may be contacted to attend an informal interview with representatives of Macquarie University.

Preference will be given to following candidates:

  • Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate that they have experienced hardship or disadvantage, including (but not limited to) financial disadvantage, non-English speaking background, geographic disadvantage, and disability.

    • Applications available via Macquarie University Scholarship Application. Applicants will need to provide two references, one from an academic source (e.g. school principal, undergraduate lecturer) and one from another person who can comment on their suitability for this scholarship.
