• Frank B. Lee Memorial Scholarship in Engineering was established in 2001 and revised in October 2013 by friends and family of Frank B. Lee, B.Sc. 1945 and awarded on the basis of academic excellence, creative and original thinking, proven leadership skills, and involvement in school or community activities to a student with a cumulative GPA in the top 5% of their class entering the third year of any engineering program in Smith Engineering

Eligibility

• This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence, creative and original thinking, proven leadership skills, and involvement in school or community activities to a student with a cumulative GPA in the top 5% of their class entering the third year of any engineering program in Smith Engineering
•  If, after all other consideration, two or more students are considered equivalent, and if applicable, financial need will be used as the deciding factor

• Selection will be made by the Operations Committee (Scholarships) in Smith Engineering, in consultation with the Office of the University Registrar, Financial Aid, and Awards if financial need is to be considered as a deciding factor.
