Scholarship Overview

International Student Education Merit Scholarship is offered by the New Mexico Highlands University to international students. International Student Education Merit Scholarship is available for students from any country who want to study Bachelors Degree in the USA at the New Mexico Highlands University. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is USD 512 at New Mexico Highlands University. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be studying in the US for the first time
• Applicant must be a full time student
• Applicant must have a 2.85 or higher GPA

Application Process for this scholarship

• Official (sealed) sixth or seventh semester high school transcript and official (sealed) final high school transcript upon graduation receiving a high school diploma
• Copy of a verifiable high school diploma or certificate of completions that is equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma
• A transcript evaluation by a credential evaluation service that is NACES OR AICE 
• Evaluations must include the educational degree equivalency, grade point average, and course-by-course analysis
• A completed Financial Certificate form and official bank statements
• English language proficiency scores
