• Estimated Value - Approximately between $5000 - $6000
• The award is renewable for the Second Year, provided honours standing is achieved in First Year.
•  Half of the total amount of the award is made on entrance and the other half upon registration in the second year, on the condition that the student obtains honours in first year. In addition, there is an OSOTF portion.

Eligibility

• Awarded to a student entering first year of any undergraduate program in the Faculty on the basis of outstanding academic achievement.

• Candidates are required to complete a certification with excellent results in the grade 12 prerequisite requirements, with one of the following boards:
  • All India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE or
  • Indian School Certificate (awarded by CISCE) or
  • Year 12 State Board Exams with excellent results
• Candidates may be considered for early admissions based on excellent 10th board examination results, final 11th school grades and predicted class 12 Board results from your school.
• All applicants to the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering are required to present senior level courses in: Prerequisite :
  • Mathematics (including Calculus)
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • English
• Prerequisite courses must be completed within five years of your intended start date. For example, any applicant whose intended start date is September 2025 must have completed the prerequisite requirements after September 2020 for admissions consideration. If applicants have completed the prerequisite requirements more than five years before the intended start date, they may be required to complete them once more.
• English Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • Duolingo English Test -  overall score of 120 with a score of 120 in Production. 

  • IELTS Academic - The minimum requirement is an overall band of 6.5, with no band below 6.0. 

  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic - The minimum requirement is an overall score of 65 with no part below 60. 

  • TOEFL iBT - The minimum requirement is a total score of 89 with 22 in each of Speaking and Writing.

• English Language Proficiency Waiver :

  • International Baccalaureate (IB) English - The minimum requirement is a score of at least 4 (predicted or final) in Higher or Standard Level English A: Literature or English A: Language and Literature. HL English B is not acceptable.
