  • The applicant must: 
    • be a woman who is a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student; 
    • be admitted as a full-time student in an undergraduate program at the Telfer School of Management of the University of Ottawa; 
    • have a minimum admission average of 80%

Application Process for this scholarship

  • Application Process:
    • Provide documented proof of Indigenous identity, in accordance with the requirements of the University of Ottawa Eligibility for Focused Admissions, Scholarships, and Bursaries for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis People administrative procedure OR Self-identify as a member of a racialized community as per the Government of Canada definition. The members of the racialized community are defined as "persons, other than Aboriginal peoples, who are non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour". The racialized community population consists mainly of the following groups: South Asian, Chinese, Black, Filipino, Latin American, Arab, Southeast Asian, West Asian, Korean and Japanese.
    • Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through the uoZone portal, and should include:
      • A statement from the applicant who self identifies as a member of a Black, Indigenous or Racialized community
