  • At Lancaster, University rewards academic excellence and offer a generous scholarship equivalent to 15% of your programme tuition fee. This scholarship is only is available for students on full-time programmes that are taught fully on campus and can be combined with several of our other packages of support.

The tables below show examples of our different fee levels and how much you will pay after this award has been applied. The value of the 15% award and the amount you will pay, if eligible:
  • Programme Fee Without Scholarship £30,900 the scholarship amount will be £4,635 (15% of the fee).
  • Programme Fee Without Scholarship £26,100 the scholarship amount will be £3,915 (15% of the fee).

Eligibility

  • You will automatically be considered for this scholarship if you:
    • have an average grade to date of a 1st or 2:1 in your undergraduate studies (to include equivalent classifications). If you have already completed your undergraduate studies, then you will need to have already achieved a 1st?or 2:1 degree
    • accept a conditional or unconditional offer from Lancaster University for 2027 entry

Additional Information

  • The Scholarship is available for eligible applicants to all full-time Postgraduate Taught degree programmes, offered fully on campus by Lancaster University, for 2027 entry.
  • Fully funded applicants are not eligible for this scholarship
  • Applicants in receipt of external funding will only be eligible for this scholarship where the external funding covers less than 50% of the tuition fee.
  • Applicants applying from the Lancaster University International Study Centre Pre-Master's programmes are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Scholarships are awarded based on the classification of your degree award and fee status for the duration of your studies. If your fee status changes during your studies, your scholarship will be adjusted in line with your new fee status.
  • Applicants to MBA programmes are not eligible for this scholarship - see the Management School MBA Scholarship
  • If an applicant is eligible for both the Master's Excellence Scholarship and a scholarship and/or tuition fee discount from any of our international teaching partnerships, only the award of the highest value will be made
  • This scholarship cannot be deferred to a future year of entry. If you do choose to defer your offer, your application will be reassessed for any scholarships you might be eligible for in that year of entry
