Eligibility

  • International students who are enrolled at Universität Hamburg and show good to very good academic performance
  • International students who have been enrolled in their course of study for a minimum of 2 semesters at Universität Hamburg and who do not qualify for assistance under the German Federal Training Assistance Act (BAföG)
  • Students enrolled in 2-year Master's programmes can apply after completing just 1 semester.

Preference will be given to following candidates:

  • Good to excellent academic performance
  • Additional subject-related achievements and academic awards (e.g., publications, prizes)
